I made Inkeri and Toivo change their wigs today. As Inkeri won't give her new wig back, I have to decide what to do with her old wig. It fits Toivo perfectly but the look is too tame. Maybe cutting it might help?
It's a pity that it is so calm here. I'm calling out for more spam and help! Does anybody know how DoBs are strung? Toivo's legs are too loose and get kicky. I have to tighten their strings.
Aww, Toivo is really cute! I love his sweater. I wouldn't know about the wig, I'm the worst person when it comes to cutting them, I have butchered a couple and it wasn't pretty. ^^;; About the stringing, I don't own a DOB, but I have DOCs. Maybe you need to unstring and tie the knot a little below from where it is now and restring again. Unless you need new elastic if the one on your doll is too loose.
Yes, that's what I thought to do with the string. Seems easiest to do. I know that LittleFees have only one string from foot to foot. Is it the same with DoCs (and then probably DoBs)? I cut the wig a bit in the back and now it looks boyish enough and after wearing a hat for some time, it doesn't look too tame any longer.
Any idea where I might be able to see the different face ups? I'm thinking about ordering, but I'm curious to know what the choices other than default tend to look like. Never mind, I found some. Thanks!
bluepita, DoD also can do a custom upon request. I ordered gore and natural face up for my SD girls and made arrangements for them to do or not to do some of the elements. They even made a tattoo for me. And just to live up this thread a bit. My Arie (she's got default face up and outfit):
