I genuinely don't have a preference. I just buy clothes that appeal to me and if they're easy to put on, that's a bonus. It doesn't bother me if the fastenings take away from the realism. I think because I collect old school dolls that are stylised anyway, having bulky or out of scale fastenings just adds to the cute. If it was a more realistic doll it would look odd but I don't have any of those.
