Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I just had an email from DOD's and they said that they have sent numerous emails to the factory but they've had no answer from them, so it looks like the dolls are STILL at the factory:(. Prehaps DOD's should use a different factory in the future!

    2. In materiel celeste they said that the factory answer them today with this:

      Sorry for the late reply.
      We will ship them next week if everything is ok. If the weather is still too wet, we will ship half at least.

    3. Well that's something at least assuming the factory are telling the truth this time!! But i don't see what the hot weather has to do with sending all the dolls out?? The weather is really hot hear in the UK and we still have to work!!

I think it's because they are casting again hands and feets (I don't know WHY, maybe they damaged the original pieces trying to remove the S hooks and need to cast new ones?), and humidity affects the casting process (produce bubbles as far as I know). All the preople I know that are casting with this factory is having delays for the same reason (or at least the factory has told to all of them the same excuse).

    5. It's good to know that, I hope the factory will be able to send the parts soon, it sounds like they made new parts. I think it was really just quiet because DoD had no news, but I'm still glad they posted it so everyone knows.

      Edit: I see that there was a whole page of posts here that I missed.
      Maybe it's very rainy where the factory is and that prevents them from casting the parts, though it is quite frustrating for everyone waiting, both DoD since they prepared all boxes so they could quickly ship and all us customers who have been waiting for 5 months now.

      I do have faith in DoD though because all previous interactions with them during the order process and also when I sent a message in between were quick and professional and very friendly. It's a headache for everyone involved when the factory makes a mistake and then takes much longer to correct it than they said they would. Hopefully those parts will very soon all be cast and then sent back to DoD.

    7. Bad news.. The factory indeed decided to remake at least the hands without asking first. So it'll most likely take time :C

      And it makes me wonder why the factory wanted the hands and feet sent back to them in the first place.

    8. Yes good point, the factory probably botched the making of the hands and feet as well GRRRRRR.

      I had an email back from DOD's and they said that they're really angry with the factory but probably wouldn't use a different factory as they charge more and would have to put up their prices, so it looks like we're stuck with these:(, maybe they had a problem because of the tiny size of the krots but that's still no excuse!

Dust of Dolls have received the new hands and feet back and will check them over to make sure there are no mistakes, then re-string them and post the krots out on thursday 21st! I'm so pleased to have this good news as we have all been through the mill with the factories silly mistake.
