Gina would like to say Hi to the new thread with everyone else.

I put the brown boots on her and Dodo's overalls look adorable on her! I used a straight pin as a 'hat pin' to hold on her hat. Isn't she the perfect little country Gnome? lol

 

She is adorable but I think you may be in trouble for calling her a gnome lol

 

I forgot what eye size these girls take, does anyone know? I really want my Kai to have some new eyes, but they look so tiny

 

I just got my Kai (pix incoming). I'm just wondering though, for the $250 order, aren't the wig and the fairy outfit supposed to come with it? Her product page doesn't mention it, but I had her on layaway for some time and had assumed that the outfit and the wig shown in the images came along with the order (at least this was what I thought when I started the layaway). It's not a big deal that it's missing as I planned on getting wigs and clothing for her myself regardless, but just want to make sure with other TinyDoll owners before I send Elfdoll a message.

Imajica- but she is a Gnome. Not the knarly kind....the gardening kind...kind of like a garden elemental? Um...so it is not an insult...it is her race. All my elfdolls are mythical creatures. Gina is a Gnome, Mio is a demon, Lynn is a fairy, Dodo is an Elf, Hiro will be a faun...and Ilya(my wishel) is also a faun, Tash (my pukisha) is a cait'sith, and soso is a faun.
Beleive me, it is no insult. Besides...Gina is much too shy to get angry at me like that...Mio would...and I have a feeling my Dodo would also.

 

Ahhh . Sorry ! LOL I knew your Mio but I have been absent from this thread for obviously longer than I thought. She is awesome. Love the freckles and the boots. Will pay more attention in the future.

Kai takes 3mm eyes. Very tiny. Dreamingtree studio stock them that little. Sorry, I dont know the answer to your question about the outfit Anwyn . Mine did come with the outfit but that was a few years ago , not this latest release

 

Haha! Who could blame you for opening him right up I'm thrilled he's made his way home and I'd absolutely love to see him I'm interested to see what that body is like

I wonder if your layaway was before or after their change. It looks like some like Dodo still come with a wig and outfit, but then again she is priced at $40 more

Thanks for the answer blue.... this is a problem, I paid for the original price at $270 during the layaway and I guess change came in while the layaway went on and they just sent me nothing with her.. even though the full price was paid for.

Anwyn , I am sure it is just an oversight on Elfdolls part. Write to them. They are a fabulous company and customer service has always seemed very important to them (in my past experiences) Explain what happened and I am sure they will work something out for you

I agree with imajica, anwyn. Contact Oka and she will take care of it. Elfdoll is one of the best, if the the best. company for customer service. They will take care of it for you. I would want the outfit, too. I have Kai and her dress is really beautiful.

Thanks for posting the pics of Hiro, Nancy! Wow, if I wasn't in the proverbial desert as far as purchasing dolls right now, I would be sorely tempted. I didn't like his stock photos because he looked too childish. Not so with your pictures. I'm not a fan of elf ears, but it looks like it wouldn't be hard to change them if someone was so inclined.

How is his posing? All my Elfdoll tinies are great posers, but I've heard so can be a bear. He also looks like he would make a really, really cute girl......unless he really can't be a girl, um, if you know what I mean, lol.

Edit: I see from your box opening pics that he is basically unisex. Hmmm.....

 

Hiro seems to be a more co-operative poser than my girls, who like to sit! He would make a cute girl. I think he could look young or older depending on his clothes. The homme skin is a bit darker than the girls.

 

Nancy, congrats on Hiro! He's such a cutie in person!

WOW-- I've been out of the loop since forever (having a kidlet can certainly derail the dollie obsession!) and just found out about Hiro--- homme skin.. very very nice! The body reminds me a little of how the larger elfdoll tinies look--- slim hips that don't look squirrelly at all (those mature elfdoll tiny hips on my girls can be their most squirrelly part for standing--- even with wiring!)
