1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Elfdoll 14cm TinyDoll discussion Part 4

Sep 26, 2011

    1. Pathy Your girl looks gorgeous. I love the way that these Elfdoll tinies have a more teenage look about them rather than childlike. I just hope I can find some clothes for my incoming girl!
      DanceCat
Thank you for that information. I have ordered a doll from Kemper in size 2/3 which I hope will fit. I really can't get my head around just how tiny these dolls are.

I do hope that Elfdoll will release more bodies in the future (and more dolls) I have bought an off topic body which will hopefully work in the short term and will be on the lookout for a genuine body if and when they become available again.

    2. Princess starburst- tinybear can make wool wigs that small. If she is still making them, I always ask for her to use a real thin piece to make the wigs and they have been really nice. I think she still makes them but I haven't spent much time on doa to check

    3. I ended up with 6 heads and only two bodies!! So, I also had to invest in the off-topic (Azone) bodies just so they could be dolls instead of heads! LOL There's nothing I hate more than floating heads!

    4. Did I see a few pages back they were giving bodies away as free gifts? How did that happen?

    5. wanted to share a photo of all my girls wearing their lovely dresses from BlueDollyKiss

      Left to right:
Aurin (Sarangelo Teacup doll), Chuu (Elfdoll Bong Sun Hwa), Rii (Elfdoll Min Del Re), Oni (Elfdoll Olivia)

May from BlueDollyKiss is so talented, she made these dresses not even having an elfdoll tiny anymore and they fit perfectly, the girls and I love them!

    6. Bluehaiku I love Tinybear wigs. I have one for my incoming puki ;-) in regards to the 'free' bodies, I haven't seen anything about that. It sounds too good to be true but I can hope!!
Dancecat true, the only thing almost as bad as floating heads is floating bodies!
Annina Thanks for sharing your lovely girls in their pretty new dresses. Some people are so talented, especially when it comes to making clothes for tiny dolls. I tried to sew a Puki sized dress and it was a nightmare! I nearly tore my hair out in the process! I had a Teacup doll when I first started collecting dolls. I sold her when I got in t the BJD hobby and I have regretted it ever since. She was an amazing doll.

    7. PrincessStarburst, aww sorry to hear you sold your Teacup doll. I always wanted one but missed the initial times when one could pre-order, I got my girl when she sold off the last ones on etsy and I'm so glad I could get her, she's so cute!
I agree about the people who can sew or knit so tiny, it is truly a skill!

I hope everyone waiting on dolls or heads will get them soon! And I wonder what elfdoll will go on to do after, hoping for tinies as well.

    8. Annina, Chuu looks so pretty! I love her orange dress and braids.

    9. Thank you Nauticaa, I think so too that this dress is perfect for little Chuu! :)

Icicle, happy monday to you too and your girl is lovely! Love her dress, did you make it?

    10. Thank you! No, I didn't make the dress -- it came in a lot of Kelly clothes -- but someone else must have. Hiro claimed it immediately and I think it suits her.

    11. how lovely, it's perfect for her!

    12. I love your Kai twins, William, and all your Elfdoll girls! You have such beautiful sets and miniatures for them, and I also love that you take these beautiful photos outside, you're an inspiration to me!

    13. Aww!!! Thank you so much, Annina!!! That really is so kind of you. I really enjoy your pictures too! keep posting! :)

    14. Hey everyone! I can't seem to post pictures directly on to DOA. I've tried basically everything including, copying and pasting from iPhoto and dragging my pictures from Flickr but nothing seems to work. Tips would be much appreciated!! :)

    15. You can't copy and paste or drag the photo. You need to use a link to your photo hosting site. On flickr you have to get the link. I think you can use the one in the share your photo box. I don't have many pictures on flickr.

    16. William, while on your photo page on flickr of the photo you want to share, click the little curved arrow on the lower right that says "Share this photo" when you hover over it. Then choose "BBcode" and then below it choose the size you want to share, one of the Medium's is usually fitting for forums. Then copy that whole link right into the post here, and that's it.
Hope it helps and you can post your lovely photos!

    17. Thanks for the tips, Nancy and Annina!!! I'll have to try that out tonight. But whenever I take the URL from Flickr it doesn't work and it just comes up with a question mark like above. Hopefully I will figure it out. Thank you!!! :)
