@Teseya I bought her to go on an impldoll "normal pink" model body that I have. But I might want to upgrade her some day But not for a while, especially if she looks good on the impl, which I do like. It's a good body, especially for the price Can't wait to take pictures of Jin!
And here is a picture of her sitting on my Impldoll Nicolas's hand, too cute! IMG_20180830_173738455_HDR by ingiebee, on Flickr
So I got another one... I can't help myself. When they pop up at a good price, I just need to give them love! This one is Olivia. The more recent elf eared release with the mature 2 part torso body. I gave her some TLC. I made her a wig using one of my old headcaps and some dyed raw wool I had. Then I restrung her. She so needed it, as her thread was fraying. Here is a pic (the rest are on my fb...but it won't let me link them, had to jump through hoops to even get this pic on here)
Your Olivia is adorable, and I'm glad she found a good home with you! I did the same thing when I saw a sad little Sylph pop up on eBay a while back. That makes four for me and I think I'm done - but I always get in trouble when I say that!
Happy Valentine's Day. She just had to show off her new dress. looks like the image may not show so here is the link
Winkeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! LOL, Love her! She looks so cute in that dress Thanks for waking up this thread, it's nice to see someone post here
Thanks IngieBee -this thread needed a new pics. Besides, I am hoping that with the elfdoll shop reopening new minis might be in the future. For those of you who may be looking to find new wardrobe items, Princesses from Ralph Breaks the Internet will fit. The princesses are 6" tall. All of their pants are capri and look great, seems that the tops fit fine. The long sleeves are a bit long but as you can see, can be pushed up. The shoes: the ballet flats fit though they are a bit big (the are even labeled L & R); the sneakers are TOO TIGHT and near impossible to get off plus are much bigger. Snow White's glasses don't fit well. I suspect that they would fit narrower faced ones like Kai. Here is Min wearing the Snow White and Mulan outfits. I left one Mulan jacket sleeve as is full length so you can see how long it is and pushed up the other one. The blue tank top is tucked in as it fits too close to the body to be placed over the pants. PS- they did make bigger dolls with very similar outfits that were sold individually, be sure to check size before you buy one. I only have the Mulan and Snow White outfits.
Thank you for the heads up @calliope13 . Man, I'm looking but the packages don't state what doll size they are for! Have you gleaned any hints as to size/packaging? Actually, I think I've cracked it. The bigger doll's shoes are adaption to a high heeled foot, whereas the smaller dolls have flat feet shoes. Hope I can find some, that looks really cool
Those look like they fit really well, but wow, those sets are not inexpensive. Yikes. Good luck with your search, IngieBee.
Alas, I gave up. I can only see the larger available without the doll. BTW @clochette , didn't you used to make outfits for these tinies?
It's often best to just buy the small dolls individually for the clothes. I ended up buying the 2 small dolls for $20 + shipping. And yes, the small dolls have flat feet.
I've had success with the older Bratz Babyz clothing as well as Topper Dawn doll clothing. They can wear older Kelly doll jelly shoes and tennis shoes, which I normally get on eBay. Some of the ballet flats fit, but not all. I know that Denver Doll also has a couple of Elfdoll outfits left elfline1 by clochette62, on Flickr (this picture is so old, it can get its driver's permit this year! )
These dolls were my first love. I have some of Tinybear's dolls too. They are really awesome together. half of my dolls are so floppy, I seriously need to find chording for them and fix them up! Adding my Ariel from, probably 2008?
IngieBee, restringing these girls can be a challenge. Not the worst (that honor goes to the Secretdoll Baby Fairies, what a PAIN), but not fun. I tend to use 1-2mm elastic cording that's sold in the jewelry section, but Denver Doll has little kits. Small forceps are your friend as is a length of thin floral wire. I see the notice from the 2017 reopening, but I'm pretty sure Rainman took his ball and went home as far as the tiny fairy kids go. I don't believe the Seedlings are on-topic for DoA, unfortunately.
I’m glad to see people posting here again! I’ve had some luck with picco neemo 1/12 clothes but they are expensive and not that easy to find.
I have some picco neemo clothes as well, such nice clothes but can be hard to put on. But looks fantastic!
