Elfdoll Mini LovelyDolls Discussion part 3

Hi Meg - my body is a little floppy, so first i am going to try some silicone kips at the joints and maybe hot glue suede but really she can slouch being this little bit of floppy, so I probably won't do too much! I may eventually try and tighten her. I can take pics when i do to show you how i was planning on doing it.
Also i will email you to show you how to get the link for pics from flickr, its really easy!
I have more trouble getting photos on IG because they either wont crop right, or just look all wonky!
Glad you got more answers on the wig sizes.

And Sue...I will have to check your Flickr. Although I think there is a way to scrunch your pics on IG so you can get the whole image in and you don't have to do the square shot anymore. But I will find you on Flickr! But yay for Zoey! She looks amazing! Her outfit is soooo cute! Let me know how restringing goes. I'm still too nervous and too much of a newb to try it yet. But I will have to attempt it one of these days.

And I completely agree with the ring business. If the rings were like keychain rings where they at least had a part to slide off the elastic the way keys come off and on a keychain then it would be fine, but the solid ring makes it impossible to change without completely restringing the doll. Seems like quite a design flaw. I think if I can find a small ring that works like a keychain I will switch it out. Might try to double it up with the new one that can slip on and off (keychain version) and then try to find some wire cutters and see if I can't cut through the current ring and perform a switcheroo. Might be worth a shot.

 

Does anyone know which body the Amy with pink dress had? I thought she had the original immature body but I'm not sure. "I MAY be on the trail of one

 

Also what size wigs do elfdolls normally take? I have been gifted every wig that my girls wear and so I have no idea what they wear. My newest is currently bald, but I would love to go shopping and get her something. Is it typical MSD/ like 7-8? And for people who have half-open eyed damis and yumis, what would you say your eye size preference is? I was also gifted eyes. It's just funny when you have the open eyed Dami next to the half open eyed dami and the eye size is so different. I think I want to go smaller iris to with my half open eyed dami so any recommendations would be awesome.[/QUOTE]


Hey Meg!

I use 12mm in my Yumi and 14mm in Dami . You can use 14 in Yumi too but there's just less white showing. Suppose it's personal preference .

 

I have Amy and yes she came on the immature body she came out in 2008 when all the bodies still had flat bust and hook hands.

The Kitty clothes fit perfectly, but the only other two outfits I have are too matronly for such a young girl. oh, wait...I have a nightgown and peignoir and panties. I'll have to try them on her.
Poor KC is in her box in the back of the doll closet. probably naked.
