Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.       I'm quite fond of Vivien, too. In the images of her there, she looks so much like one of my dearest friends that when I sent her a link to the images of Vivien, she was stunned as well by the resemblance. (I have to have one some day for exactly this reason myself. ;) )

    3. I am not sure this is the proper thread to post on or not. I could not find anything current and some of the others I found on the search did not seem appropriate. So if this is wrong, just point me in the right direction please!

      I just received my new Elfdoll, Lydia, yesterday. I joined the Elfdoll site on the second go around as I missed the first one and did not realize Denver Dolls no longer sold them and that the site was a "members only" thing.

      I have been looking for sometime for another SD doll. I am very pleased with my choice. First, the price is a great bargain. Free EMS postage and seam sanding is great! I never saw the "old" body in person so I have nothing to compare it to. But she poses very nice.

      And a big surprise to me is the extra set of hands! At first I was disappointed as they are magnetic. I have a 16 inch Dollmore bjd with magnet hands and don't care for them. They seem to "roam" around a bit. But these ones on Lydia are wonderful! They look like they are strung and the sculpting is unbelievable! Just beautiful. And the magnets hold them so well. On the plus side, it makes it so easy to dress. I do a lot of knits and sometimes the fingers get hung up in the yarn. This makes it so easy!

      Too bad no photos are allowed in the large discussion group as I have my Rachel Lynn all dressed. However, I do have to take her apart and blush her today and give her a manicure. I did get the default face painting, and like Volks, it is quite pale. So I hope someday to get another face up for her. But she is just a perfect model for me. I do have to make some adjustments on the patterns I drafted up for my SD Volks and Narae girls. But not major changes. Sweaters are the same, so that is super! I plan to do a knitted lace hoodie soon for her and when I do I will post it on the Knitting Circle and my own site.

      Yes, all in all, I am very pleased with my new girl!

      Hope more comments are posted here and we can get this back in the "main stream"!

    4. I have two Elfdolls dolls with old and new version body. Here are some comparisons pics:

      right is: Sooah standart edition , Costum Face-up from SOOM team, old version body with large bust part.

      I am very satisfied with both versions, poses very good.

    5. My new body does not look like your new body. It is all one piece on the bottom of the main body. The top bust part looks the same. You could only order the one kind on this last order period. I guess he must have changed it again! Your bottom part looks like the way Minifees are done.

      Rachel's parts are "drying". I took her apart to blush. This was the first bjd I have done that I had to leave the arms connected to the bust part. I was afraid to ruin the magnet part on the lower arm. Also, I could not pull out the main elastic for the body. There is a knot stuck in the neck area. It is going to be a challenge to blush the bust area along with the arms hanging out at the side. Oh well, you learn from each doll you do!

      I guess since you put up these photos, maybe when she is blushed and back together I will show you how my bottom part looks. I guess a photo like that is allowed since we are discussing bodies here.

    6. Okay, I finally got a couple of photos taken of the newest body. I just received my Rachel (Lydia) last week. As I mentioned in my previous post, this body looks so different than either one of yours Anita. I find it stand well and poses good but the chest "bobbles" around a bit, unlike my large Narae and Volks SD bodies. Overall I am quite pleased and the service was great. She will make a great model for me.

    7. Thank you for posting these, dollswest. I think the body you have is the newest Elfdoll girl body that is being sold on their site now.
      Would you mind posting some pictures of how the body poses, unclothed? I am thinking about getting this body for my Soah head :3
