Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. I was hoping to for an unpcoming con, but I'm not sure if I can anymore. I'm taking a break and doing Akiko Minase (Kanon) and purchased my Mikuru Dollfie Dream to be Ayu. Just haven't had the time to make her anything :(.

      I do have a Persona 3 girls uniform and a Persona 4 uniform (for Naoto) and plans on doing Aigis, so my Rise Kujikawa DD can join in on the fun :)

    4. I haven't done it but I'm not against it. In fact I would like to try it someday. The closest I've ever gotten is carrying my doll with me as I cosplay :)

    5. all the time, so super fun. Since doll meets are in the convention and I'm usually in costume, it's just natural for me to incorporate my doll. My yo girl is my cosplay buddy since my boys tend to be too heavy to carry around all day.

    6. I haven't done it before, but I want to. I figure I'll either do an Assassin's Creed one like I've been saying I'll do ever since I got my first doll 4 years ago or maybe dress up as John Watson and carry around my Benedict Cumberbatch

    8. Not cosplay, exactly, but there have been several doll events where I've dressed up in similar costumes to my dolls. Does that count?

I actually just got my first BJD in November, but I'm going to AX this year and I might bring a BJD to cosplay with :) it depends on my budget and if I can make it or if I have to buy it. what would be really cute I think though is either matching cosplay outfits or from the same group (MLP)

Surprisingly my dolls have done cosplays with my friends but not with me Specifically my Lusion was a perfect size for Yachiru paired up with my friend's Kempachi, and another friend and one of my JIDs went as female versions of Alucard. I suppose if you count non-character Lolita outfits I've done cosplays with my dolls, although that is more because I tend to make my dolls clothes in styles I like to wear than an intentional matching. I also have plans to do the entire cast of Sailor Moon with my dolls but I have plenty of dolls for it so I'm not including myself in that one.

    15. I ordered a little Kyubey outfit for one of my tiny girls to just chill in, but now that it's mentioned, I am planning on Madoka for later this year. This just happened without my planning it like this even!

    16. Even though I go to local conventions with cosplaying group of people I'm usually the odd one who doesn't dress up. I'm not against it. I have just never found the perfect character I'd like to pull off. ;)

    19. Oh yes, yes, YES!! This was one of the reasons I got into the doll hobby: so they could wear the cosplays I knew I wouldn't fit! But now two of them have become my little cosplay companions, and the rest are getting sucked in as well! So far I've had:

      *Mei-rin (Me) and Sebastian Michaels (Kikuyu, DZ Yuu)
      *EGA Hatter (Me) and EGA Dor Mouse (Kikuyu)
      *China (Me) and Hong Kong (Kikuyu)
      Makoto, my DZ Tulip, has also been the White Queen from the Tim Burton Alice movie and I recently made her into Taiwan to accompany China and Hong Kong!!

      Now that I've got a big enough cast, hopefully later this year I'll turn the rest of the bunch into the other Asian countries from Hetalia! China will have all his little brothers and sisters! :aheartbea

      Cant think beyond that ATM just because it will overwhelm me of how many "cosplays" I'll have to make, but there will be more! :)

      Oh! And on a funny note for those who have cosplayed a lot with their dolls: ever notice that when youre planning out your packing list (ie the right shoes, wig, etc) your doll(s) will sometimes have just as much items to pack, if not more?!*_* Let that simmer in your brain for a bit....!
