1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Ever Cosplay WITH Your Doll?

Oct 7, 2011

    1. I have not done this yet, but I do plan on cosplaying my boy as Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas and then I would be Sally carrying him around, haha. I am planning others as well, but gotta get money to fund stuff for the cosplays!

    2. I plan on dressing up my girl as Yui from Sword Art Online since my husband and I are going to do a Kirito and Asuna :D

    3. I just cosplayed with Penny, my RS Li at AnimeStL. I was afraid to carry her around the convention for a number of reasons, paramount being, staining. Anyway, I went as Blaster from the old G1 transformers cartoon and Penny went as one of his mini cassette transformers, Eject. I didn't get a picture of us together, but for your viewing pleasure, here's a picture of Penny in her costume. She actually has a pair of pants that look like Eject's legs but I didnt' get it in the picture.

    4. I would love to cosplay and do Inuyasha & Sesshomaru one day!

    5. Well I think I did. I crossplayed as Ritsuka and Aidan cosplayed as a doll version of Soubi. I still have my human version of Soubi though. *Greedy girl* xD

    6. -v- I might be actually planning to pull one of these... I've been building a Judal cosplay (from Magi: the Labyrinth of Magic) for my DC Hugh after a request by a friend RL so I might as well cosplay as princess Kogyouku at some point and go with him as a set...

    7. i haven't but i am going to! i cosplayed as rukia from bleach once. as a matter of fact i have been planning on sewing byakuya's outfit to have my soom hyperon cosplay him! and then we can do it together! :D

    8. ^.^ Im in the process of making a cosplay for myself and my yosd doll~!!

Im planing on being Amu from Shugo chara and my doll with be dressing up as her chara Miki~<3 if i had more tiny dolls i'd do all of the chara's but i don't >.O (maybe one day!~! lol)

    9. I haven't necessarily cosplayed with my girl, but I've taken her with me while I happened to be in cosplay and I've been in lolita clothing together with her! I did that at the most recent convention I went to, and she was in a nice lacy dress too so it all worked together. That's probably the closest I've gotten, haha. If I find a picture of me with her then I'll post it here.

    10. Haven't cosplayed yet but I am sure planning to. :)

    11. I haven't myself, but I did see a girl cosplay as Rin Tohsaka while carrying the DD Rin around Otakon in 2009.

    12. Definitely! i got costumes to cosplay as characters in shinzengumi, and this year i have plans for nazgul in LOTR and possibily vampire hunters/dracula or so

    13. Well, now that I've completed my first cosplay, I'm going to have to get one of my dolls in on the action next time. It may turn into a 'group' cosplay with my sister and at least one of her dolls... at the last con, I was Rarity and she was Pinkie Pie, and she's working on making doll-sized Applejack and Spike costumes.

    14. Hey guys :) for one of the upcoming conventions I was thinking of making my doll a costume to match mine, do you think people would find that weird or cute? I know that lolitas in Japan tend to do it but that's fashion rather than costume.

    15. My boys friends go to manifest and they all dress up and some of them have bjd and dress them the same as they are , I think it's cute not weird

    16. I think it's adorable! :D If you decide to be a match then I would love to see pictures!

    17. Thank you two for your responses, I'm glad others think it's cute too (^__^) Looks like I need to go fabric shopping x3

    18. I've done James Sunderland and had my boy dress up as Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2!

    19. Going to a convention in march, I am planning on making my leekeworld Ariana a Ponyo costume and I will go as Ponyo's father.
I have taken my dolls to convention before, but never in cosplay. I just need to find an orange wig to fit her giant head. >.>
