Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. I'm so happy this topic came up! I want to be able to cosplay with my dears when I receive them. It's actually something I'm planning as of now, but of course, I'm horrible and love to procrastinate. I plan to do Shingeki no Kyoujin(Attack on Titans) with my dear, and perhaps Natsume Yuujinchou.

    6. I cosplayed many times with my crew. First time we did Camp Half Blood characters for a book signing , then many Con after as many different characters . My last Con I was Korra and 3 of my dolls went as the Fire Ferrets Korra, Mako and Bolin in pro bending gear. This Dec I'm doing Frost Con and I'm going as Korra in her season 2 cosplay and my one doll is going as Korra in her winter gear. My next cosplay goal after that is doing DC Justice League Crew. Batman, Superman , Wonderwomen, HawkGirl, etc with my crew.

    8. I looked for a thread like this, and only found bjd cosplays around certain fandoms, but not anything like this. So sorry if it exists.

      But anyway. I'm a cosplayer, and cosplaying is super fun, but it's more fun if you have someone to go with to cosplay with you. Sadly, most of my friends are anti-con and don't go, so I'm often putting costumes together for just myself. I'm planning on going to the next con as InuYasha and it occurred to me, why don't I take my Sabik with me. He can be my Sesshoumaru!

      Do any of you cosplay with your dolls? If so, what was it like? Share some pictures. Did you make them yourself or purchase/commission them? What was hard? What went smoothly? Was it a good experience?

      The last time my doll and I wore matching costumes at a convention, I got lots of positive comments. It was fun creating miniature versions of everything.
      I was my own created character, "Every-Mom", so not really cosplay. Everyone was referring to us as "Me and Mini-me".
      The next convention we will both be going s Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas.

      The ones I want to do so far are Angelic Layer (Probably as Misaki and Hikaru but still undecided) and a couple of Sailor Scouts. :3
      Myself probably as Neptune but still undecided. I'm going to re read the manga and decide from there. >.<

      I really love this idea. I love going to anime conventions and have full intention of taking my new doll.
      It just seems like it would be more fun for them to participate in the cosplay as well. :3

    12. Going to a Con next March and doing a Pokemon theme cosplay with my boy. Sammy's going to be a shiny Frillish, and I'll be going as Mismagius. I would love to do an Angelic Layer themed cosplay with a doll too! And once I get a bigger girl I'll be doing another Pokemon cosplay - me as the gym leader Sabrina, and my girl as her doll. It'll be fun! :D (though hopefully my sewing skills will improve eventually...)

    14. If I think about it too hard I get really weirded out about people cosplaying with their dolls. But the idea is very cute, to an extent to me. I'd rather have my dolls cosplay while I sit on the outside and watch, personally

    16. I'm planning to do a duo cosplay with my incoming boy. The characters will be a girl and the little fairy which is her advisor.
      I've wanted to cosplay her for a long time and if I dress my new boy as her fairy i'll be complete.

    17. I not only cosplayed with my doll, but as my doll! It was my first con and I got so much love for this costume. I really have the BJD hobby to thank for helping me overcome my fear of crowds to attend my first (and certainly not my last) convention!

    20. I'm a cosplayer, and I definitely do hope to be able to cosplay with my dolls. I have a white plague doctor mask and long white coat that I plan on wearing, and recently found a white plague doctor mask for an SD sized doll~. So for a convention in January I plan on going to, if my doll is put together enough by then, hopefully the two of us will be wearing our masks~. :aheartbea Obviously there will be more costumes to come~ Perhaps I'll be able to make him a matching one for my Assassins' Creed costume. :dance
