1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Ever Cosplay WITH Your Doll?

Oct 7, 2011

    1. I really want to dress my doll as cardcaptor sakura

    2. I once did Zelda from Skyward Sword and Mini-Link... well, he was Link duh!
It was actually the reason why my first nameless/styless BJD became Mini-Link. He got a bunch of girls squealing "LIIINK" while I passed in front of a waiting line, it was hilarious!

    3. This would be fun once Joker is compelted. I don't have my Harley Quinn anymore but I could easily whip one up...i think it'd be pretty neat especially to hear what other thought.

    4. In 2006, I cosplayed the Japanese musician Kisaki, and my Kid Delf Ttori was Riku, the vocalist of his band at the time (Phantasmagoria). We even ended up in a Japanese magazine together!

      Terrible photo here XD

And kind of related, here is my doll cosplaying Kisaki with Kisaki

    5. i wanted to cos up a character from Kamisama hajimemashita, that is tomoe!!!!
well i think i like those character is from Fox... :P
i havent tried, but i thinking to try in future!

    6. I've had custom made cosplay outfits done for my dolls but never done cosplay with them
      I really want to though

    7. I'd love to try some Angelic Layer style cosplay sometime, but I don't think there were any male characters that used female dolls, and I'd feel silly buying a boy doll just for a one time thing.

    8. I recently went to my first ever convention. It was really fun, and I loved cosplaying and seeing everyone else's cosplays as well, everyone looked great! I went as Terezi Pyrope from Homestuck, and I didn't have a lot of time to throw my stuff together, but I plan on expanding the cosplay in the future. I'd like to bring one of my dolls with me to a convention dressed as a scalemate (little plush dragons). I'm thinking of sewing a scalemate kigurumi for them and taking them along ^.^

    9. Yup, some time back I made my Pukipuki Rose into Baby Tooth from Rise of the Guardians for my Toothiana and my gf's Jack Frost cosplay.
I also dressed another of my dolls up once as Kagamine Rin in the "Dolls" version for a convention once n_n

    10. I haven't done this yet. I took a break from cosplay before I got into BJDs. I'm finally just getting back into cosplay now, and hoping to do some matching costumes with Amiga. I'm making a Sailor Mercury for myself and want to do Sailor Venus for her.

    11. I considered making a Cyberman (from Doctor Who) helmet for Halogen (my geeky doll)... actually, now that I think about it, I'm cosplaying Missy from Doctor Who and she has an army of Cybermen... my mom is going to wear my human-sized helmet, and I think a doll sized one would be more difficult, but Halogen could be an addition to my army... you know what, I'm going to make him a mask, just not go all out because my mom is the one who made the human one (she's really awesome like that, and she's helping with my Missy cosplay too).

    12. I've done it once, and I'd love to do it again. I cosplayed Sakura from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle in her Infinity outfit, and made Sin into a mini Kurogane.

My friend and I are also planning to do a group Gundam Wing cosplay, with myself as Hilde, her as Colonel Une, and our guy friend as Tallgeese and one of our male dolls as its pilot, Zechs!

I also have a Yukino cosplay (Fairy Tail) and I'd like to do one or more of her celestial spirits as dolls.

    13. Ehehe, I'd love to do this<3

I know it's cliche, but Attack on Titan cosplay, with a dolled up doll? #goals

    14. I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this yet, but someone could pull off an awesome Alice Margatroid or Medicine Melancholy (Both from the Touhou Project) cosplay using dolls.
It'd be hard but come on, Alice can control dolls and Medicine is a /literal/ doll with a miniature version of herself (I think..?). Both are screaming "BJD Cosplay!"

    15. omigosh yes!

I did a touhou cosplay a couple years ago and have really been wanting to get another touhou group together since there's so many characters lol

    16. I just did last weekend at AnimeFEST. On Saturday, I cosplayed as Peridot from Tales of Hearts and my Luts Senior Delf Cian cosplayed as Yuri from Tales of Vesperia. Then on Sunday, I cosplayed as Iori Yagami and he cosplayed as Kyo Kusanagi from The King of Fighters series.

    17. I've never really cosplayed with my dolls, but I will likely be doing "matching cosplay" with one of my boys at future cons. Technically, it's not cosplay for him, though. :XD: I generally cosplay as Edward Elric all the time (very rarely other costumes, mostly just him), and I've been getting my Ed character doll's costume together a little more seriously this year, using the same patterns I used for my own, just scaled down! (His red coat is even made from the scraps left over when I made mine.) At this point, he's got enough that we can mostly match at any given convention, and eventually we'll have almost exactly the same outfits! :)

    18. My daughter and her doll Silka have, they had such a wonderful time at an anime con. I am in the process of getting such outfits for myself and my Chuchi-rie I can't wait!

    19. I know I posted here already, but I'm having Laika cosplay Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls and she may come with me to a convention in July if I cosplay as Mabel. I may be making my own Bill cosplay though so we'll see. I'll be sure to take pics if I do!

    20. Cosplay is totally in my agenda and has been since I discovered BJDs. Just gotta get convention money and make some costumes lol. May have to think of something soon. Bf is saying something about a con in June he wants to go to.... *plots*
