Face Up: Freckles! Yay or nay? ✦

I don´t like freckles, but the dolls looking cute.
It´s not so nice for me.

 

I don't care if it's a lot or a little, if they look good and look like actual freckles I will like it. If it looks like random dirt, specks, or blobs I wont like it.

 

I like them. Especially over the cheeks and nose. I think they're cute. Also, I don't think there are very many people who don't have any moles or freckles. I really enjoy painting them too, especially on Iker... I love how his freckles turned out!

 

I self painted freckles and birthmarks to my non BJD dolls, but it was not highly popular within my friends they didn't see the beauty I saw in the birth marks. I didn't feel bitter etc, at my friends reactions as I have come to terms we are extremely different in terms of doll aesthetic and we are pretty open but respectful when giving critism about each other's custom dolls.

 

I have freckles on one of my dolls, and I did them very lightly. I also added some light freckling on his chest and shoulders when I was blushing him. This is just his character and how I pictured he would look, whereas my other characters are more like fantasy gods/godesses who don't have any freckles or birthmarks.

 

I've been researching what doll I want to buy, and one of the options I bookmarked just because one of the makeup/faceup options is with freckles (the Iple House Kassia). I think they're really cute! I haven't seen many dolls with beauty spots, but as someone who naturally has a few on my own face, I would like to see it on a doll I think.

 

I don't have any freckled characters in my own doll family, nor in my plans, but I love others' freckled dolls so much. They're very cute.
Can't say the same about single beauty spots, though. I mostly don't like them on dolls (just the same way I don't like my own birthmarks).

Heaps or just a few, large or small, gathered or scattered; I LOVE THEM ALL. Freckles just give a doll a bit more personality I think!

 

My Johanna has a sprinkling of light freckles on her nose and I think they look adorable. As long as freckles on a doll aren't so thick that they're distracting, I'm okay with them.

Freckles are very beautiful and give to people / dolls who have it so particular... I would like to have some o my face but I havn't
And I try to make some sketch for make myself some dolls, one will have freckles and big ears

 

Freckles, whether on a doll or a human, make me rather happy! I think they're really cute, I even plan to give my next doll some freckles. The more the merrier! I have a couple freckles on my myself, actually ^^

 

I had a couple with freckles but have sold them and preferred none, time tested for me.

 

I love freckles. My husband has freckles on his nose, and I absolutely love 'em. I have two dolls with freckles that look so cute!

I love freckles!! I think it can add a special sweetness to a dolls face of sometimes just a more realistic looking face. I want freckles my first doll *^*

 

Fair skin, really heavy freckles all over from head to toe. Red hair and green eyes is I have a weakness for that. But I currently only have one doll with facial freckles only. And his freckles are pretty light.

 

I love freckles...I accidentally end up giving them to most of my faceups XD

 

Freckles are adorable. So far, two of my dolls have them. One has just a light dusting across the nose and cheeks, and the other is a true freckle-faced cutie-pie. I love them! My only complaint is that the doll's body looks featureless by comparison. I know I could body blush and add freckles across the shoulders, but I'm not really into that.

I don't have anything against beauty marks, but none of my BJDs have them.
