  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. when well-done, they can give the doll much character ;) Just as any other beauty marks. I noticed that whenever I paint a doll I always leave it with something... the focus on eyes and lips is not the only thing ;)

    2. I love freckles, especially on dolls. When I was a kid I always wished for some, but I just get tan in the sun. When I eventually get Simone a different faceup, I want her to have freckles.

    4. I really love freckles, I will receive doll with freckles in this or next month and i think so it will give her more personality and atractive character, as we all get this in sunshine :-) so i think doll will look more human and more alive.

    5. I'm definitely considering to give my new doll some freckles or beauty marks too, since I feel like they give the doll even more personality and make them look even more realistic. I just don't know if a face up artist would end up making them look how I want them to look, so I'm still thinking about it :)

    6. I love freckles and beauty marks and the whole dotty shebang.

      I used to kind of hate my moles and overcorrected to freckles and moles for everybody. Lol.

      But I do like the look of introducing some skin irregularity to a doll. Makes them feel more like a person.

    8. I like freckles! I think it adds to a cheeky look on a younger character, but it can also just add a sense of realism to any doll if they are done well!

    10. Freckles are a big yes for me! I think they're absolutely adorable and while I haven't tried them myself yet, I'm really excited to on the right doll. As for beauty mark, I have some "beauty marks" myself, that are very dark, defined freckles at key points on my face, and I don't usually see that accurately portrayed anywhere so I always love to see it :aheartbea

    12. I love freckles so much, I´ve always loved them! But I wouldn´t want all my dolls to have them... I feel like freckles gives a doll a more realistic and lifelike feel to them, but of course depending how it is executed. I like both very realistic and also very cartoon like freckles (for example one-by-one freckles like Deku from bnha has or similar)it looks cute on dolls! Coming back to why I wouldn´t want all my dolls to have them, I like diversity in the stuff I create, I would just hate me if I put freckles on everyone, like I used to on my drawings back in the days.

    13. Awww, @Brightfires! Everyone I seem to know who is very freckled hates them but non-freckled folk love them.

      Shoutout to @rykaan here on DoA who does some pretty great freckled faceups! I have a couple dolls with freckles and adore them but I wouldn't put them on literally every doll. Kinda ruins the magic for me. :love

    14. I LOVE freckles! The more, the better, in my opinion. I've always been jealous of people with freckles, so I plan on living vicariously through my dolls and giving them loads of freckles.

    16. I LOVE freckles. When I got my April Story Raven, I was so excited about the freckles, but they're not as obvious on mine as they are in the company photos. So some day I may have to fix that.

    17. I'm a YAYer :lol:! I love freckles especially when they're differently colored, like in between the brown ones are darker ones or white ones or even fully blown rainbow. It gives the doll even more character I think <3.

    19. I gave both my dolls freckles! I think freckles are adorable, and add so much both to the face and body. (I just used toothbrush with watered down acrylics)

    20. I like freckles if it matches the character I have in mind. I'm extremely picky about how they look and pretty much only like them if they look natural and not like black heads scattered across the face.

      That being said... I'm a gigantic sucker for beauty marks and moles so all my dolls pretty much have them...................
