He is! He's an actor named Joe Wiegand who specializes in the role of Theodore Roosevelt; he also does a one-man show in a small historic town in North Dakota, and takes photos with attendees afterward. He was a great sport about taking some photos with Akane, and was pretty fascinated by her, too.

Long time BJDer, but newer to LTFs, and I am confounded. All three of my LTFs have no torso hook, and the hook in the head is pinned in the headback and then CLAMPED shut around the elastic. How the heck did Fairyland even string them?? And aside from doing a neck mod, how can I even resting them with that stupid neck hook being unable to detach from the elastic? My only thought would be to cut the elastic, put a hook through the neck crimp and then another in the torso, and then string... but at that point, they would be mostly s-hooks and like an inch maybe of elastic. Would that even work? Any ideas?
I honestly think all LTF are like that - I don't have a single one that I can remove the headback of. But there will be someone who can help - I do know that people have unstrung them before - but I wouldn't know how they would then reattach the headback! Have some spam, while you wait:
When/where did you get your LTFs? I just spot-checked three of mine (2008, 2014, 2015) and all of them had a hook securing the strings in the pelvis. The hook clamped in the headback is normal; I've always just left the strings attached when I'm taking mine apart for body-blushing.
