@SuperShawol and @Koma I agree with your assessments of the winking head. Definitely not my favorite!

 

Maybe it's just because he's a victim of grey wig syndrome, as previously discussed, but to me this guy looks too much like Ingrid with a more masculine faceup. I liked his preview pics but I don't find him to be too distinctive after getting better and more varied shots of him. In that sense I actually like his winking face more than his regular, though I think that heavy eyebrow paintjob was a bad call (I think it looks much better blank). I guess it's good that I'm safe, lol, I don't need another layaway to replace the one I just finished

 

Oh dear, they've finally done it. They've put the "sad/cute" eyebrows on a male MNF. LOL! Thankfully I don't care for his set, so I'll most likely order him in the future. Still currently eyeing the fullset Miwas in stock at DDE...

 

I am in love with Rames, and his full set I'm so going to try and order him. Also I kinda like his winking smirk face and it's face up, it has strong trouble maker vibes which I dig.

 

Rames has a cute face but when I first saw the promo pics I thought for sure it was a female and I see Denverdoll is offering him on a female A-line body too which is great. Having said that I am waiting for Ria from a few months back so will probably hold off until she arrives before adding another FL girl but they are sooo cute and I can see how they can multiply.

 

I agree with this. His eyebrows are unfortunate. I like him in the pictures when his eyebrows are covered or shadowed.

 

I'm definitely getting Rames I love the winking face's smirk, and was really hopeful that the regular sculpt would have it, but oh well. I'm going to reshell my Kyle; Rames has a more mature look that suits his character more.

 

Did anyone receive a mnf Chiwoo lookback head in tan from Denver Doll by mistake? I don’t know why I keep ordering from them because I have an issue at least once a year, but this time I was sent the wrong head. I did contact them and they said they are getting a new one from Fairyland for me, but this is so frustrating.

 

@SeiWolf - I received a lookback Lishe head in the wrong resin color. Like you, had to wait. I only order from DDE about 1or 2 x year, but mistakes happen a lot. Once a tan f65 with the wrong size bust. No response. I just kept the doll.

 

That's a shame... didn't realize they were having these issues. I got my very first doll (a Doll-Leaves Vanesa) through them about 8-9 years ago and didn't have any issues that I recall. I hope both of you get the right heads sent to you ASAP.

edit: I actually got my DS Vanesa through MoC. Woops... I think I got some wigs and such from them. Not a doll.

 

I’ve placed a lot of orders through DDE and never had any problems. I have also found them to be very responsive both through email and by phone. I am so sorry you’ve both have had these problems!

 

I’ve had issues off and on since I ordered my first doll from them 13-14 years ago, maybe every couple of orders there is a problem. It’s usually related to my Fairyland orders. I wanted to go for a basic tan Kaka preorder and had my eyes on the other Chiwoo lookback head but I’ll probably go a different route after this.

 

I've only ever had one issue with DDE, and that was my fullset Erda (with the vampire head) arrived in the wrong skin tone. They had to check if it was their fault or Fairyland's (they did not tell me who), and I got the replacement doll with event head a month later. It's possible Fairyland makes quite a few mistakes on their end, but DDE has been great at fixing things on the customer's end.

 

I had a problem with my first DDE order (not Fairyland), but I haven't had any issues since and their customer support has always been great. Well, I did have one other problem but it was an issue with the doll manufacturer, not DDE (missing fullset shoes that took 3 months for the company to send).

 

I haven't had any problems with DDE. My F60 Cygne came with a broken finger, but it wasn't in the box so I assume FL shipped her that way. DDE sent a pair of replacement hands within a week.

Hopefully the head issue gets solved quickly.

It's come to my attention that I don't have many boy clothes....I can't be blamed for this.

 

@DaisyJane great video! So I liked her eyebrows before, but after you added a little more to them I think she looked more “complete” and polished, it’s definitely an improvement!

@DaisyJane Love your video! Her personality really shines through. It makes me want an Iset. Unfortunately, I have plenty of dolls who already demand my attention.
