Aww I like seeing mnfs with ltfs!

A couple of questions. First, how big is Eva head compared to the other minifee heads? Is she on larger or smaller side? I'm trying to come up with a body for her and not sure if she will look better on a thinner one or a chubbier one...

Second, what are the hybridization options when it comes to the minifee boys? I don't think I can remember any...

That's why I love this mold! He's very much "I'm just happy to be here" in a cute & silly sort of way.

 

Honestly, yea. I actually like the eyebrows but not combined with the grey hair. If he's going to have those eyebrows and slightly feminine face, I think his hair would be better in a color that emphasizes his youth (a blonde if he's brown haired adult or black if he's black haired as an adult)
The grey hair might be more "mysterious" or whatever but it clashes with his youthful face too much.

Yes! It's perfect for that kind of character. So cute!!
I think that's a great mold to have for a character that's very sweet and enjoys living life with a childlike whimsy.

 

How do I upload a picture to a post? Can I use a google drive link?
I want to share a picture of my first minifee wearing my first faceup.

 

I tried Google and could never figure it out. I found that the easiest way was a free Flikr account. You need to make your photos “public” on it and after you upload them, you can click on the photo you want to post and then click on the arrow on the bottom right corner and then copy the link you get in the box and paste it into your post here.

 

Oh, what?? That kinda sucks... Can I post links to another site or something? Link tumblr links even if the picture itself won't show on the post? Is posting links to websites like tumblr allowed?

 

@notsospoon I'd go to the ask a mod thread, to ask about both if there is a way to post with google, and if you can use tumblr links.
I use flickrPro for pix, but before that used Photobucket, so I know that a handful of photo hosting sites work here, but I do not by any means know the full list of which ones. Good luck though and hope to see pix of your doll soon.

 

@notsospoon - Yes, you can use google drive to link to your photo. Just open the photo, click the more actions icon, click share, under general access change it to anyone with the link and click copy link. Paste it into your post and there will be a hyperlink to just the image.

 

Yea, I was thinking of this too! I just don't know if that would also be sharing my email.

 

I just clicked around, it does show your email if you go looking for it. You could always make an email account just to use the google drive for sharing photos.

 

So excited to have Chloe! I had been wanting her for a while and she arrived a few days ago. I wanted to challenge myself to do a colorful faceup since I tend to keep my dolls looking natural. Here’s some pics of her progress. I’m happy with how she turned out! I went ahead and painted all her little nails as well. She is my mermaid & ocean themed girly. I can’t wait until her blue wig gets here too!

Thank you! Eyebrows are tough. For some reason I always do one much better than the other and spend a lot of time getting the sad one to match "Sisters not twins, sisters not twins. . ."

Found a guitar I like for Naoki, completely by accident! I ordered the doll it came with because she was on sale and I liked her, then when I saw the size of the guitar, decided to give it to him! Now I've got to see if the instruments from the other dolls might work for the rest of the minifee band.

 

What doll did the guitar come with? It fits perfectly!

Correct! It's from an LOL Surprise OMG Doll, Ferocious,she was on sale last week. XD I actually own a few dolls from that set since I like the outfits and ended up finding one in a Marshalls on sale for super cheap as well. The other instruments work pretty well too! I kinda want to get the drum girl too, since I don't have her yet, and yoink the drums for the fourth band member. Not sure what to do with member five yet. XD
