Oh lordy, Hwayu got me good. Now that there are better pictures of her outfit... wow. That black and gold and skeleton hands? Are you kidding me right now?! I thought Sia would've won me over. Plus I figured it was as good a time as any to get some extra hands for the other couple minifees I have too.

 

My Alan girl arrived this morning from CPF. With the most godawful huge eyes. Making her look a complete weird alien. Luckily I already had some Enchanted eyes I ordered for her. Much much much better. One hip joint is well off though ...... looks like the cap is either too small or the ball joint too big. Or maybe the stringing. I'll have to have a closer look later. Bit shocked at how tan she is but then she's the first tan doll I have. I'm just too used to militea rose!

And I agree with so many people here, it's as if Hwayu was specifically designed with everything I like. So gorgeous! I love the ribcage harness on her dress.

In other news, I'm visiting family for the weekend and I took Gin with me, so I thought I'd grab a few pics!

 

Did Fairyland ever confirm if the new Hwayu is the same head as Halloween 2018? They look very similar, but I'm not sure if she's exactly the same...

The new skeleton heads are interesting, but I'm safe this time. I prefer the human version

 

Magnetic feet. It's an issue! How does one stop them coming off when wearing socks and high boots? I spend ages doing all the lacing up and then when posing her the feet come off in the boot and then I have to unlace and pry them out. Would blu tac work?

 

blu tac would prolly help yeah tho i havent had that problem with socks

 

I've never had that particular problem... or maybe I don't notice. I would try the putty used in eyes. I hope you have better luck soon.

I finally took a group shot of my finished minifees. They are so cute! And I would have never, ever guessed I would own so many.



The two in the back are on Doll Leaves bodies.

 

I'm pretty sure the mouth (and teeth) are a bit different. Fairyland never re-releases event heads, so it's not exactly the same.

 

Yes I'll try blue tac or putty. At the moment they literally come off the minute I try to pose her .... inside the sock and won't reattach without undoing boot laces. I just noticed I have the same brown boots at your middle girl. They are fabulous. Can I ask which Minifee is the one second on the right with the brown hat and scarf? She's super cute.

 

Does anyone happen do have a Minifee Sirin in white skin and would share a picture? I'm thinking about getting her in white skin and want to see what the faceup will look like. Much appreciated. ^-^

 

Oh, is your girl on the Moe Line body? If that's the case, maybe try stuffing the toe with tissue paper? I don't know otherwise. My Honoko doesn't have that problem so maybe it's the tights she's wearing that keeps them on?

The minifee with the brown hat is the 2017/2018 Nanuri (winter head that came with my minifee Niella). I didn't like it at first but then I started to see how sad she looked. So I sent her with some other heads to AngelToast. Now I think she's sweet and very keepable. I named her Iliza.



The hat, scarf and sweater are from HelenDollClothes on Etsy.

 

She is gorgeous! Probably the prettiest of the sculpt I have seen!

My girl is an A line but I have found out what the problem is I think. On both feet the magnet from the ankle is attached to the one on the foot. So there are two on the foot but none on the ankle and I think this is why the feet come off. I need to restick the magnet onto the ankle. Not sure what adhesive to use but hopefully this will sort things.

Your Nanuri sculpt is adorable I really like her. Yes Angel Toast did a great job. I have little espidrilles from HelenDollClothes her shop is fab.

 

@Inka'sfriend Broken magnets! I wouldn't of guessed. I hope you can find glue strong enough to fix it. I think the only issue I've heard that can happen with that is gluing the magnet in upside down. Good luck! I hope the problem gets fixed.

Early Halloween pictures! Gave my second pic some twilight vibes since I live in WA now lol.
Haven’t been here for a while! I got busy, very busy. We had our baby doll arrive after a nine month wait I missed all the doll talk. The upcoming event looks great! I’m excited to see what people create with the skull faces. Maybe day I will snag the minifee outfit but for now, I’m good!
