Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 67

Just saw more photos with new minifee in Instagram. Her name is Lami. Very interesting girl in masquerade costume, so many details! What do you think?

 

Kim SunHwa posted pictures of the new Minifee on Facebook. She looks so lovely, I think I'm already in love.

Lami is really stunning! I love her face! I think I may be at my minifee limit though lol.

 

I think she's really beautiful, and I normally do not go for female MNFs, but she's one of the few to call to me.

 

Lami will be my first minifee when i have the money, i love her so much !!

 

Lami is so beautiful! What is the difference between Full Package and Designers Complete sets? I am confused

 

@Eldawyn It looks to be if the shoes and mask are painted or not, and the eye upgrade.
Designer Complete tends to be all resin extra parts painted and their limited eyes. Full Package use to mean you could choose to get things unpainted or add the cost of painting, and not get the fancy eyes or add in them as options. Now it seems for ease the diff between is all the extra options, no extras.

So her shoes will be a smokey clear gray or plan clear resin unpainted as will her mask in the Full Package.


I'm sad it looks like none of her alternative heads have a face up option. However I'm looking at that elf version and thinking it could make a good boy, and it could make a good shell for an elf from a comic I loved growing up. So that's a need if I get Lami or not.

I am also looking at the elf head. It's a pity that the facial expression is specific, not neutral.

 

Would anyone know if they’ll be adding Lami to the my choice? I really want her as a boy.

 

Oh, I really want the Lami event elf head...oooh! It can be purchased separately! Gonna get one for myself, love the little pout.

In other news, Nova wishes everyone a happy whatever is going on for them! She's feeling FESTIVE.

 

Oh yes, Lami will definitely be mine. Although I already have a Minifee Sirin on the way, but she is just too beautiful.
And I don't know why, but I love how Fairyland always announces their events with "Keep calm and don't rush", I always imagine a bunch of people freaking out and running all over the place like headless chickens when the event starts.

I think they usually add every new Minifee to the a la carte option, if I'm not mistaken.

 

I wish they offered a face up option for the elf and event heads, as I can't do faceups myself and don't have a go to face up artist to do it for me anymore. I do really like that Lami elf head.

Surprised there's only one doll this release. I wish they would go back to normal elf heads though. The expressions are cute, but I'm really not into it as much. This girl is super pretty - Alan is my favorite minifee and she looks like a female version of him, so I think I'm going to go for her. Some of her outfit is recycled ideas (as usual lol) but I think they went a little more unique with her than they have been. Pretty exciting. I *love* her mismatching socks and dangling jewelry.

It kind of sucks that you can't order the basic fullset and get the event head though. :/

 

I need the frowning Lami elf in tan as a boy, it just reminds me so much of Rayek from Elfquest. (Double so the cover art for Rogue's Challenge where Rayek is deeply frowning.)

I also really want a full set of her human version, her face up is pretty and the outfit is cool.
I too am sad about no face ups on the event head or elf, as finding face up artists is so hard.
I love all the expression heads FairyLand keeps making even the ones I didn't go far are really cool.

 

I definitely think that Lami would make a great boy! Planning on that myself, still not sure if I'll do his face up myself or get it done yet. I agree that it would be nice if Fairyland offered face ups for the event heads. I fully support the trend of interesting facial expressions, though, I love the sassy looks on my Soo Elf and Alan Event boy.

 

The new Lami is super cute. I was also thinking about making that sculpt into a boy at some point. I'm hesitating a bit on whether or not to add it to my list because I want to keep my list to a certain number. I might need to bump someone. I'm going to wait to decide until after I can see some owner's photos. I hope someone gets her in tan and NS. The white skin doesn't help showcase their sculpts the best for me personally so I can never tell if I love them until I see them in the other resin colors.

 

I asked Fairyland if they'll be adding Lami to their A La Carte system anytime soon. They've updated the picture of where you can chose the heads but not the drop down menu. So I am hoping before their event ends. I really want the smirky/pouty event head for one of my OC's.

 

I wish Fairyland showed their faceups of new released dolls without a wig, so just the head with the face up. On the promo pictures the eyebrows are often covered by the wig and since Fairyland often does some weird "experiments" with their eyebrows, that always bothers me a bit.
