1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 67

Oct 15, 2021

    1. I saw on IG some dye their doll with synthetic dye like Rit Dye More. Maybe you can try something like that, so it match more.

    2. Especially lately! It's gotten so bad. Part of the reason why I'm grateful for the skull head the new Hwayu has. She's only got one weird looking eyebrow, and it works well with the skull part.

Ugh I know exactly what you're feeling. I ordered a Tan Minifee Ingrid fullset during her release. And I was SO excited for her to come home. And when she did, I was disappointed.

Her makeup didn't translate well at all with her tan skin, and her outfit felt so cheap in comparison to the Feeple65 Medusa fullset I had gotten earlier that year. I tried very hard to love her, but after a few months, I sold Ingrid.

Hope you can figure something out for her!

How adorable!! She is so stunning! I love all of the pink. Ugh. I'm a sucker for dolls in pink. :chibi

    3. I don't have Syliva but I think my Sircca is one of my most sophisticated looking if my minifees.

    4. Doll quest - your Sircca is so lovely!!! I feel like the sculpt is so versatile as well.

    5. Does anybody have a Maya without the default Fairyland faceup? I'm not fond of theirs, but saw one on the gallery and she looked like a totally different doll! I don't know who to choose. :sweat

    6. Maybe this could help you.

I think there're other photos from this owner in her instagram. I personally like this makeup of Maya more than the Valkyrie one's.

    7. Thank you!! I've been look at Sircca and Sylvia on Instagram for a bit, and I guess now I need to start looking at Maya as well.

    8. I'm going to paint a new faceup and see if I can re-bond with her. I do really love the Marcia sculpt and feel guilty about reshelling her.

    9. @Nabbs there's another option. You could consider purchase new body and then airbrush all the head to match the color of this new body, then faceup on the brushed head.

Not everyone have the tool though. I heard some faceup artist offer this service too.

    10. yeah a good faceup can easily be matched to a newer body. Or you can be like me and ignore the mismatch all together lol i have my minifee kyle from 2010 on a very new motion line body from like 2021. He does not match at all but he's whole again and thats what matters.

    11. Thank you all for the suggestions! I did not realize how attached to her I am. I thought about selling her to gain the funds to purchase a new doll, but I felt a pit in my stomach. :atremblin

I have a silly question but am curious - my Marcia is yellowed due to age and the hands I recently purchase are of course not matching. I think she is about 10 years old. I wonder if I just like left the new hands out in the sun for a few days (weather permitting) if that would make them match eventually? They are too small on the inside but I think I could very carefully dremel them larger so they fit onto her older body.

    12. I've had a few decent days of weather and wanted to quickly redo Felicity's faceup. I forget how hard it is to paint tiny eyeliner and keep it even. *_* I kept most of it pretty minimal and more natural looking; I only used acrylic paint for the eyeliner, and I also only used browns and no black. I also ordered some new eyes from DDE which I'm excited to see. [IMG]

    13. Congratulations on getting your heads repainted. I like the eyeliner! I finally got to paint this summer too (Ria arrived months ago but has been waiting since and then when our summer did arrive we had weeks of rainy days.) I still have yet to paint her sleeping face plate. I also need to buy some new wigs for this size.

    14. LyanneNZ - she is so gorgeous!! :DI had forgotten how fun it is to paint dolls. I still have a Lookback Shiwoo to paint but I'm so scared to mess him up. :XD:

    15. I could relate to what you said though about how difficult it is @Nabbs . I only paint in the summer and I guess I don't get enough practice but when I do go to paint I feel like I don't even know where to start! And then trying to keep all the lines straight...not easy! I really admire the clever repaint artists. I am hoping we will have a few more days of sunshine so that I can work on the sleeping face.

      Have fun with Shiwoo! :)

    17. Hi! I am planning on getting Jiyu as my first minifee, on the active line girl body. I see the option for cutie legs and model legs. Both look nice, and I can see the difference aesthetically, but I was curious to know people's preferences and thoughts! Does one pose better? Is it purely looks? Thank you :D

Wow.. So so gorgeous! The wings are amazing, and the delicate pink faceup and wavy hair are both so lovely.

    18. I don't have any with the other legs but I just love the cutie legs...they are so...cute! LOL They just seem to have a very feminine pose to them. Very shapely :) This isn't a new photo but hopefully it helps :)
