1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 67

Oct 15, 2021

    1. nat97, thank you :whee:
I agree with LyanneNZ about cutie legs. It is more natural.

LyanneNZ, Chloe very gorgeous as always :love

    2. I think most people prefer the cutie legs. They are more curvy. I actually prefer the model legs better. That being said, most of my minifee have cutie legs because they were in stock or bought second hand. The ones I have pre-ordered are model legs. I can take comparison photos tomorrow and add them to this post.

    3. Thank you! the more I've learned and looked the more I think I prefer cutie legs. The model legs are nice if I ever get another character who I'd like to be a bit shorter though :)

    4. Here is Ria again dressed this time - lime green jeans and black top by me and a beautiful coat from a lady that used to go by the name of Marymoe.

    6. Is there not a database thread for mnf Sylvia or Maya? I wanted to look up more owner photos of these sculpts but didn't see them listed in the big database thread.

    7. @LyanneNZ Ria is fabulous! And I love the outfit!

    8. i dont think there are, there are quite a few sculpts missing from the databases

    9. I just made a thread for Sylvia and Maya, these are so beautiful! Does anybody have a reference for what the default faceup for Maya looks like when ordered a la carte (and not the valkyrie/russian maiden)?

    10. My new eyes came in!! They're glib eyes from DDE and they are much more pretty in person. I'm still so conflicted about reshelling Felicity into a more grown-up looking sculpt. [IMG]

    11. I have both cutie and model and I personally prefer model (pose better in my experience) but I did a poll on IG once that actually showed most prefered the cutie. I was definitely in the minority favoring the model legs.

    12. I got my minifee Erda head today! He's so precious and cute he really needs a body of his own...i might just mod a girl a-line or moe line because i like the height of the girl minifee body for him. He also needs a name lmao.

    13. Where can you get the fairyland mini fee Siean head? It feels like the head doesn't exist anywhere..

    17. Siean was an event head that was never actually sold, just given as a gift with purchase by Fairyland back in 2013 so you will need to find one second hand if it is one that you wish to have. I'd suggest putting up a WTB if she is one that you really love.

    18. Oh I never knew this! and thanks that is a very good idea.

    19. Great work on the shorts! I love the embellishments! Did you use a pattern? If so, which one?

    20. I used a pattern I had made many years ago for my Tonner fashion dolls and just re-worked it a bit but I need to tweak it as these came out quite tight and this denim has no stretch in it :) Plus, next time I might make them sit a little lower. It was fun working with pretty beads and sequins to add to them but the photos don't really show off the sparkles so will have to try to re-take them at some point :love
