That's sad. My boy is on A-line body too, and I just find that the M-line body are too slim for my taste

 

Oh they better not discontinue it, it's so nicely balanced in shapes it's the best slim MSD body.... the M Line/fairyline is a bit more slim than I like for any but my skinniest character.

 

I couldn't agree more; I love that my boy has a little tummy! I didn't even realize what I (figuratively) had when I ordered him, just that he was my long-awaited Shiwoo. After I pulled him out of the box, I figured that newer BJDs were just engineered to be more "solid" and I was impressed at how real he felt to be such a stylized sculpt. Then I got all caught up and realized my re-introduction has spoiled me. I never thought I'd be picky about bodies. I've actually gone as far as to email Fairyland inquiring about it, since it couldn't hurt.

 

Kim Sunhwa has posted pics of the next Minifee girl and she's really pretty! I am very safe thankfully but she does look like she has some cool accessories

 

Her dress looks really pretty and her accessories too. But I didn’t expect a new minifee so soon after Lami.

 

Thanks for the info, the outfit looks gorgeous from what I can see. I guess I'm doomed, this is exactly something I was looking for. And I just ordered Lami last month.

 

She is beautiful! Hopefully those who get her will post lots of pics.

 

She is pretty, but I am going to pass on her. I hope for tons of owner photos.

 

I’m safe for now since I tend to lean towards boys, but lately I’ve been getting the urge to have a girl to dress up. And with seeing all of your ladies arrive, only time will tell…

@Lady Sai Inu - Your Karsh looks so amazing. I love that the sculpt has so much personality. I am so sad he is no longer available to purchase from Fairyland.

@Amadiel - Your girl makes me do a double take on the Sirin sculpt, I wasn't initially too fond of her from just looking at the company photos but she is lovely! I do like this faceup much better than the one Fairyland gave her.

Oh Fairyland you got me with Phobe Her dress is beautiful! And I'm such a sucker for the little wing head pieces. She kinda looks like Carol, Sirin, or Hwayu to me. She's pretty but it's the outfit I really want!

 

I just tired to post a want to buy thread for old a-line hands that are yellowed, but it won't let me post since I don't have a feedback thread (I've never bought from DoA before, only places like DDE). Is there any other way to request to buy hands without having a feedback thread?

 

I don't remember the feedback being hard to create. Just type the first post as like "hi this feedback thread is for me."

@Nabbs - Thank you so much! Please post when you are able to paint yours! I haven't seen very many LB Shiwoos and it was tricky to do research when I was still contemplating getting him.

Speaking of which, I wonder if a database of just Lookbacks from Fairyland would be allowed. Even though most of them are discontinued (as far as we know), it could still be helpful to anyone buying second-hand and future LB's could be included. Idk about anyone else, but I've only been able to find very few owner pictures, if any for some sculpts; I was doing research just now and until literally 30 minutes ago, I had no idea that there were neutral-faced LB Minifee Els and Lishes.

 

Phoebe is very pretty! I’m also surprised so soon, but kind of happy I don’t want her since I got Hwayu and Lami still kind of wishing for more non-white haired releases but always enjoy them anyway

 

Don't mind me, I'm just parking myself here in the hopes that more Hwayus will be posted! Patiently waiting until I can get my layaway paid off....well, waiting as patiently as I can.

Also @Lady Gemini - your idea of a Lookback database is a good one, I'm sure it couldn't hurt to start the thread. I haven't been very successful just looking for the lookback heads on Instagram, so I know I would appreciate a database.

 

@Ferret-hime - Awesome! I’ll get on that soon, thank you! And same here, I was trying to do research before I purchased my LB Shiwoo and it was really hard to find anything. Now I have a LB Chiwoo on the way and I’ve seen only one on Instagram, who’s lovely but is female and styled totally different to my taste, so I can’t really envision how he’ll look until I’m working with him myself. I wish Fairyland had done some photoshoots of them styled with faceups and everything to release along with the sculpts to help market them (honestly, the fact that they didn’t reinforces that they’re probably trying to move on from the old sculpts). As someone pleased to see the enduring enthusiasm for original CP dolls, I’m excited to see how everyone selected their Lookbacks and styled them.

 

Oh my gosh, Phobe's outfit is stunning! I can't wait until there are more pics to drool over.

Also agreeing that a lookback database would be very much appreciated!
