1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 67

Oct 15, 2021

    1. I'm still trying to decide on a sculpt for my fantasy blue girls... I think it's between Chloe and Mirwen. Can anyone share some pics of these girls and what you like about them? :chibi

    2. @brinney This is Mirwen, face-up by FairyLand. I really like her eye shape and the molding around her eyes. She has a really intense look to her. She is my adventurer doll - always wearing hiking boots and ready to go outside.

This is Chloe, face-up by AngelToast. Chloe is by far my most favorite sculpt. I have her in 3 different sizes. I really like her sweet face. She looks like someone I'd like to befriend. I always think of her as kind and thoughtful.

    3. That is a lovely Fairyland facepaint @Dollquest ! the AngelToast Chloe is gorgeous -
      her work is always amazing!

I, too, love the Chloe sculpt in any facepaint she has! Here are two of my Chloe -
one with Fairyland paint, the tan with Vitta Vera’s incredible work.
Chantal, on left, has stolen the wig that Colette, on right, used to wear.
Colette has a new fairy-like alpaca wig and is waiting for me to make her something
new to wear with the fun wig.

Chantal in Teeswater wig (left) — Colette in alpaca wig (right)
both wearing the wonderful Raouken corsets and heirloom petticoats that I made.

    4. @Robyn_in_WA Love your Chloes and how you styled them. Raouken's corsets are just beyond beautiful. I'm really sad she doesn't make them anymore. I own two myself, but would have loved to buy more for my Minifees.

    5. Mirwen has a unique almost grumpy look that I adore! But Chloe is sweet and innocent looking. Thank you for sharing! :love

    6. It seems people collect Chloe sculpts like chips! XD I’m in love with your tan girl, she is gorgeous.

    7. Where do you all like to buy your wigs from? Most of the threads about wigs from the database are quite old, so I'm not sure about recent quality of wigs from most companies. Apparently Monique wigs have stopped being made such is so sad. :pout:

    8. I don't have a Mirwen but I do think she is lovely. I don't think you can go wrong with either...I have two Chloes and a Ria.

Yes, it's very sad that Monique no longer produce wigs. I have Monique and a short Dollmore one that Ria has chosen now.

    9. @brinney Thanks so much! Yes, Angel Toast does a wonderful job!

@Nabbs I buy wigs from DDE. LeekeWorld wigs and (JinSun wigs for smaller dolls).
I love natural fiber wigs though and have a couple alpaca wigs from BelechixDollWorld on Etsy. I also have a couple from ZazouCustomDolls.

    10. @LyanneNZ - I will add Dollmore of my places to look around.

@Dollquest - I went ahead and ordered a Leekeworld wig from DDE, and I'm pretty excited. It's a size 6/7 for my mnf Marcia which I think will fit better, as most 7/8 wigs are either a little loose or VERY loose. I think I have also found ZazouCustomDolls when searching on Etsy! They look beautiful and very well made.

Also for anybody interested, the lookback heads (Shiwoo at least) are quite a bit smaller than the original heads. Every 7/8 wig I have tried on him is absolutely too big.

    11. I’ve noticed that a lot of the newer sculpts are 6/7 not 7/8 and this includes the look back ones.

    12. 7/8’s will fit better over top of a silicone wig cap, but I’ve found that this isn’t ideal long-term because my long-haired doll looks swallowed by hair and my short-haired one looks like Coconut Head. *_* (They’re also LB Shiwoos.) Silicon caps also stretch out over time and get more ill-fitting. I’m planning to switch to 6/7’s and use Velcro strips or something.

    13. @LyanneNZ Your Ria looks very glamorous!!

    14. Yeah my Mirwens are both 6/7 heads, in 6-7 Monique wigs.

    15. @Lady Gemini - You're definitely right; I have a beautiful wine-colored 7/8 Leekeworld wig that only fits Felicity with a silicone headcap. It doesn't slip off, but it doesn't look quite right. But then I also have a brown wig from Etsy that was like $12 - it's size 7/8 and is actually a bit small. That makes me nervous about trying other companies outside of Leekeworld since I'm not sure how their sizing fits minifees.

    16. Oh, I should have also mentioned I have them in Leeke wigs as well! I have numerous other 7/8 wigs from there and they all fit my Spring 2017 Minifee and egg-headed non-FL MSDs perfectly. I got a Leeke 6/7 wig in a clothing lot that was a bit snug the first time I tried it, but I’ll have to try it without the cap.

    17. Here are some photos of the wine Leekeworld wig in 7/8. It is thick and nice quality, but the color just wasn't right for Felicity (I tried to turn her into a redhead haha). It's also quite a bit longer than I thought. It is this one WINE but purchased from DDE.

    18. Does anybody have pics of a Pukipuki with a Minifee? Would Pukipuki work as an infant in MNF world? I already use my Pukifee as a toddler.

    19. I just received the most beautiful Leekeworld wig but it's size 6/7 and much too small for my big-headed girl. :...( I've sent them an email, but I believe they'll let me exchange for a bigger size if I pay shipping costs (which is fine). It's so beautiful and the perfect color, I'm so sad. It's this one in choco brown Isadora 7/8, Various Colors – Denver Doll Emporium

    20. I've seen some on insta of Pukipukis with Minifee in group pics. Too me they look more like baby dolls than babies just cuz of the body shape is more toddler than infant. But that's just my opinion! They are baby sized to Minifee though.
