Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 68

this is such an amazing hybrid!! I wanted to try larger dolls but can’t get away from my love for minifee sculpts. Might have to try this out! Did you have to do anything special to the neck or head?

Thank you! I didn't have to do much, I just swapped the s-hook for a 3D printed mnf neck key and that was it! I love the shape of the body, and Alicia looks cute on it in my opinion

 

Ooh can i ask where you got the neck key? And what skintone did you choose? that's seriously such a good hybrid

 

I know Denver Doll has them. I believe they are from Fairyland.

 

I got my neck key through shapeways originally, but they shut down briefly and I don’t know if the listing is back up. But if you know someone with a 3D printer here’s the thingiverse link:

I find it easier to swap from to the 3D printed neck key than the fairyland provided neck keys as it’s hard to get the FL elastic off it. With the 3D printed one you just slip the key part through the elastic, no full restringing recquired!

Mine is just printed in white, but you can’t see it with the head in place!

I meant the skintone for your impl body but it is good to know the key part doesn't matter! It's the 1/4 body right? It looks so much bigger than a 1/4. Your girl's faceup is also so lovely by the way, definitely one of my favorite alicia's out there

 

Oh! The Impldoll body is in real skin, which is a good match for Fairyland natural skin. It's the 1/4 Plump body, but she is hefty for a 1/4 girl, she wears Iplehouse JID sized clothing, but can fit some MNF shoes.

Ahhh! She’s here! My photos do not do her justice at all! She’s so glittery and I love how absolutely *done* she looks with everything!

I’ve got another wig and a pair of shoes coming from DDE for her so I can show off her pretty ears! I lover her default wig but I can see myself tangling it so fast if she wears it constantly.

I also wasn’t expecting her knees to move so smoothly? I’ve only got a fairyline boy so maybe it’s a different thing, but her knee joints don’t click! I’m pleasantly surprised!

I bought a dollmore knitted sweater when I bought her outfit and I really should have paid attention to the sizes because it’s so big on her lol

Sorry for the double post but I was able to pull together a winter outfit and I thought she looked cute. We’re preparing for the winter storm that’s about to hit New York.

I need to get pictures in the daylight, but my Serenia got here today. She's elfgray and her fullset is a lot prettier than I expected from the pictures, the little details really make it. The eyes are my least favorite part, but her headcap is on so tight she's keeping them for now.
