1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fairyland Pukifee discussion part 28

Mar 24, 2020

    1. Pukifee things— mimiwoo for shoes and boots. A lot of places have Blythe boots and they’re like $15-20 a pair!! Mimiwoo’s are like $8. If you have liv dolls - their wigs fit very well and if you look for ones with with bangs, they hide the plastic rim. Lots of sellers make lati yellow clothes and those for pukifee— check out cool cat on etsy amd or eBay for some very cute pieces. U

    2. My pukifee heads are SO wobbly. Any suggestions? I suppose they need restringing but has anybody tried hot glue sueding on them?

    3. I don't have an answer for this, but I'd be curious to see what others say. My girls sometimes get what I call the "pukifee head bobble" where their head will only jerk between two positions. I've thought of trying a kip or something to give a little more friction but I'm not sure how to get one in there without restringing everything, which I'm not up for on this size.

And because every post is better with spam:

    4. I have not done any hot-glue sueding, but sometimes you can use a little scrap of the Rubbermaid shelf liner material, it tends to have a lot of grippyness. Moleskin works well too.

    5. Hi everyone! I got a pukifee about a week ago and while playing her I've noticed her head tends to snap back a lot. The rest of her seems to be ok, but her head is just...no. any ideas how to stop this? Preferably without unstringing her? She is my first fairyland and I am quite intimidated by how different she is from my other dolls. I can if I have to....but I would REALLY rather not. Anyway. Any ideas? I can probably hot glue suede her head like I saw a few posts ago. Would that work?

    6. Another question for everyone. The pukifee I have has magnets EVERYWHERE. Head, back and booty. I can put soooo many fantasy parts on her. I love it soooooooooo much. Is this standard in pukis or fairyland dolls in general? Or did I just hit the jackpot?

    7. Head kickiness seems normal for Pukifees. All mine do it haha I just work around it. Taking their heads off is actually fairly easy. Just make sure to adjust the S hook so it doesn't fall down the neck tube if you wanna try to suede her :)

And yes! Magnets are common with Fairyland! I think as of now they all have magnet hands and feet. And from Pukifee on up to Feeples they have magnets on their backs and heads for fantasy parts! I love that about them, I have fairy wings for my Pukifee that I got from etsy.

    9. @Angel_ A little princess indeed! She’s absolutely precious.:)

    10. Thank You!!! ♡

    11. PKF heads are often floppy. I am awful at restringing, so I understand that intimidation! You can get silicone washers to put on their necks which protects the resin & means you don't need to restring - just search 'BJD silicone washer' and you'll find them. PKF will probably take the smallest size!

    12. Thanks for the tip! I've been meaning to do something about the pukifee head tilt for ages but have never gotten around to doing anything. But if I could split a washer and rely on friction and the elastic's tension to hold it in... yeah, that'd work!

And finishing up with some semi-seasonal spam:
