Hurrah for all the new arrivals! @Kirahfaye: Your Ante looks so much sweeter than mine! Mine looks like an old punk rocker having to supervise the rest of the pukis!
I love seeing Leon-heโs so cute! His new face up suits him and his wig is perfect. Have fun with him!
Hi everyone, Itโs been years since I visited DOA or even looked at my dolls, but I happened to log in a little while ago in time to see that the pukipukis were being offered again.. and, wellโฆ I just couldnโt resist! I ordered a pong pong and an ante, both in tan through Denverdoll and they just arrived yesterday. Iโm all excited again to spend time with my tinies. They are just so flipping cute. (Edit: Yes! I think Iโve figured out how to post imagesโฆ) Tinies!
My pukipuki rory just came in! he's incredible! he doesn't have a wig yet, but hopefully that'll arrive soon! his box opening: https://denofangels.com/threads/tiny-little-snail-man-pukipuki-rory.880925/
I'd forgotten that "technically" I had a box opening..... my Ante was safe, just a bit shaken up. Box Opening???
After resisting the final order period with much success I thought my wallet would be safe but after continuously lurking in this thread I caved and purchased a tan Pongpong instock from Denverdoll
My Flora came home yesterday! She doesn't have a wig yet, or a definite name yet, but here she is! New Puki Puki!
My Ante had ankle surgery! A few days after she arrived, her ankle and foot came off. I emailed DDE and they said that occasionally the little rod that holds the hook for the ankle breaks off, so they were able to order ankle parts from Fairyland. I got it in the mail yesterday and fixed her. She works great now! She seems like it didn't phase her one bit! Pukipuki Ante by Jane K, on Flickr
Dipping my toes in the water here, hello. I've only got one doll so far, Madeline, and I love the near instant gratification of sewing and knitting for someone so tiny. I'm a spinner and went through a phase of spinning frog hair, I'm finally using some of those yarns now! Although I've pretty much got a lifetime supply with how much is needed for a single sweater, lol
Man, I am NOT tech savvy, but I think I've figured out picture posting. These are my first knits for my Madeleine, the yarn was supposed to be a quick spin on my (at the time) new wheel. I had 42g of 50/50 silk and camel down, though it would be an evening's worth of fibre spinning... not so much. After a week I ended up with 460 yards of two ply cobweb yarn, and after knitting these I probably have 450 yards left
