  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. Having that problem right now with a Soom Dia - non romantic head. I remember first getting into the hobby and that sculpt really took my breath away and have always wanted him since. I was always scared to buy brands i didnt know much about leaving my collection to one company but when i broke out of this i feel i am finally ready to buy all the dolls i wanted.
      I was asking on the Soom page and they said that they usually release Dia over christmas time which really made me happy. Hope is not all lost!
      There is also the market place but i haven't seen the skin colour or him with a new body yet. So i'm patiently waiting for christmas ^^

    4. My best friend and I have an ongoing joke phrase - "Soom is suffering" - because both of us happen to love quite a few Soom sculpts, and they're obviously notoriously limited/unavailable. Now that I'm thinking about it, she might actually have "Soom is suffering" is her DoA profile even, haha. It's horribly frustrating, but you pretty much resign yourself to getting a lot of your really wanted dolls secondhand... and praying another limited you like doesn't release in between.

    7. I know that pain - I seem to have a knack for falling for dolls from small artists or companies with limited pre-order periods that have all been and gone! So far it's been BJtales Mouse, lillycat/cerisedolls Colline, Nobledolls Rhubarbe (specifically in green, just to make life easier) and Heartstrung Ruse! Though I have optimism that at least one of those will become available at some point!

      Why oh why did it have to be the mature tinies I fell for? As far as I can tell they're a bit like hen's teeth...

    8. I do feel the same way about a couple dolls. I got lucky I found a Ring Doll Eve since it's been discontinued for quite a while. The other is a Soul Doll Shiva which could be a lot harder finding since I fell I love with her for arm grey skin version. Here to hoping Soul Doll releases another version of her in the future.

    9. I've also fallen in love with a limited edition doll. I mourned for it but I never lost hope. I know a few people who got lucky and got their grail doll after the discontinued doll got re-released by the company. T^T hoping this happens to me too~

    10. I've fallen in love with several fairyland event heads that are long gone. I've seen a couple of them pop up for sale recently, but I had no dolly funds at the time so I just kinda watched the listings in vain as they were sold to someone else, haha. It's a sad feeling but I'm hoping the stars will align someday and I'll find a Minifee Sarang who can come home to me :)

    11. You know how when you see a doll and you know that "that's the one!"? no doubts or thinking twice and this happened when I saw Rosettadoll Zio for the first time. I thought he was perfect for me, the face is exactly what I have always wanted in a SD male doll.

      But he was sold out :( I felt more pain when I saw that I was just a few months behind the date he went on sale and I could have gotten him because I had the money ('where the heck was I??' I used to yell at myself)...he was my dream doll for a long time but one magical day, a member from this forum sent me a PM telling me that she wanted to sell her Rosettadoll Zio and if I wanted to buy it O_O I said yes of course!!!! I was extremely happy (thank you to the person who sold it to me, I will always be grateful!).

      I'm so happy I got my dream doll...too bad that the company closed down, I wonder why? their dolls were too beautiful. Anyway, this experience taught me that we should never lose hope :)

    13. This hasn't happened to me that many times, but I did fall hard for Soom Chrom about 2 years after he was first released. At the time, Soom wasn't in the habit of re-releasing monthly dolls. Luckily, he wasn't that hard to find second hand.

      More recently, I fell for Iplehouse Pamela. I was pretty repulsed by her character in the Carved Heritage story, so at the time she was available, I had no interest. But now that I can separate her sculpt from the CH story, I sort wish I hadn't passed.

    20. I've been eyeing, and wanting, Souldoll Zoseph ever since he was released in 2013. I thought of the clothes I'd make him, even the backdrops I'd make for the story I was planning for him. Alas, today when i checked Souldoll's website--discontinued. There are many dolls I've loved and seen discontinued over the years, but I was pretty crushed about this one, not gonna lie. I firmly believe, however, that if I save up my pennies and scan the marketplaces, I will eventually find him. I hope everyone here finds the dolls they've been searching for <3
