1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. She's absolutely stunning, congrats!!

    2. Thank you both!

Also, did anyone realize the heads have serial numbers?

    3. Looks like there is going to be a pre-order come April so I'm going to save now! I can't decide if I just want a body or a full doll, their faces are gorgeous but I am dying to replace my Feeple girl's body and I don't love having duplicate bodies...Maybe I can splurge on both if I do some overtime LOL.

@nancy_schroeder_ca I haven't purchased one yet but the the international dealer is located here: https://www.moonlightbjd.com/.

    4. Messaged the artist directly on Weibo, they have* a Taobao shop. I never really use dealers.

As far as I know they won't be selling body-only anymore. The heads must always come with a body and vice-versa. But I suppose a dealer can split it if you order from them?

    5. I bought my body from Clover-Singing so that may be an option also.

    6. Their instagram says they're working on a website, too. I can't get a taobao account to even browse so I only have dealer option, sadly. I don't mind buying a full doll for the body if it comes down to it, at least. Such beautiful sculpts my girls can always share a body if it came down to it!

    7. I am very eager to see a side-by-side of the Model 60 and the new body! As much as I adore the Model 60 for it’s form, I do love me some thigh mobility joints… Part of me is wondering if I could swap the legs between the two bodies :sweat Although I have been focusing much more on my 1/4 dolls and I wouldn’t want to keep any more bodies than necessary for my OC shelling project. For this reason I’ve also decided I should part with my Yue. (Sad, I know! She’s such a gorgeous sculpt but she deserves more attention than I would be able to give her.)

But speaking of hybrids, I actually bought some Dikadoll jointed hands in normal yellow for my Volks Normal Model 60 body. Dikadoll normal yellow seems to be a decent ~enough~ match to actual Volks resin (?), so we’ll see how the match is when the hands actually get here. I’ll be sure to share pics!

    8. Just ordered a body for possibly hybriding my Feeple! I doubt the match will be amazing due to the peachy/pinkish coloring of Feeple dolls versus Volks being more yellow but nothing blushing can't fix. I'll definitely show photos once it comes in if anyone would like.

    9. Looks like a comparison between the old Model 60 body and the new body has been posted! (Warning for dollie nudity) Fanff_11 on Instagram: " #bjd"

She’s definitely curvier than the first body, and she has thigh joints! It also looks like she’s able to slouch a bit as well?

    10. I asked Newcloversinging if she plans to host orders for the new doll. I know the artist says on her Instagram that she has an international website underway, but I am the impatient type, lol.

I have the previous Model body, but I think it's a bit too petite for the character I have. The (Fantasiadoll brand) head I have for it looks just a tad too mature and big on it. I think I could give the model body to another head of mine if I had the newer body for this character. Fanff also seem to sell bodies separately on their Taobao, so I'm positive I would be able to get it without having to buy a head I won't have use for.

    11. Are the measurements for the new body posted somewhere? I’m only on Instagram for the most part and I see the measurements for the new head, but not the body.

But I agree with a bigger head potentially looking better on the new body- I checked the comparison pic Fanff posted on her Instagram between the older and the newer body, and the head looks really tiny on it even tho it’s very similarly proportioned to the old body.

      ——
And for those who haven’t seen it yet, here’s a pic of the new head Liu! Fanff_11 on Instagram: " #bjd"

    12. @Mainframe110 There is a post on doll.tita page on instagram about these dolls (the newer of the two), when you scroll to the 7th slide of it, there's the body measurements translated to English. I haven't seen them translated elsewhere.

On another note - I ordered the body only from Newclover since she said yes to selling them. I hope the medium heel feet are a bit easier to find shoes for, my Model body's heels are floating in air in all of her SD16 shoes.

    13. My Dikadoll jointed hands arrived the other day and I wanted to share with everyone how they look on the Model 60 body!

I got the 1/3 female jointed hands in Normal Yellow, and my Model 60 body is in the "Volks Normal" color. I based my color choice off of this official Dikadoll image:

In real life, the color match is okay. I'd say about an 75%-90% match, depending on the lighting and how picky you are with resin matching.

I also happen to have a doll in Dikadoll's Normal Pink, so just as a comparison you can see that even though Normal Yellow is slightly yellower than Fanff 11 Volks Normal, the Normal Pink is way too pink.

The size of the hands are interesting, they're smaller (and less aesthetically pleasing) than the Model 60 hands and look small when looking at the proportions of the body as a whole, but the smaller size doesn't necessarily look bad when compared to the proportions of the head. (I put my currently eyeless White Skin Yue head on the NS body, so ignore the color difference between the head and the hands)

Dikadoll has a few different sizes of jointed hands, and the Model 60 hands (6.4 cm long) seem to measure just in between Dikadoll's 1/3 female hands (6 cm long) and their 1/3 Male hands (7 cm long). So I'm not sure if the male hands would look too big.

As for the wrist joint, the ball joint of the wrist fits nicely on the forearm, but I definitely need to tie a string to the Dikadoll hands the way a string is tied to the Model 60 hands. I can't get a full range of motion with the hook attached directly to the hand and the palm of the hand keeps wanting to move independently from the ball of the wrist, which makes me nervous that I might accidentally detach the finger elastics.

Overall, definitely an aesthetic downgrade from the gorgeously sculpted Fanff 11 hands, but I wanted jointed hands for this character and I think these work nicely.

    14. Sneaking into this page as I’ve ventured down a very deep rabbit hole and am now in desperate need of Yue. She gives me the same butterflies my grail gave me so I’m now on a mission to get one haha anyone know how frequent they hold pre orders? I won’t allow myself to miss the next one.

    15. I believe July? It was moved from April, but they should have an international website soon.

    16. Dropping in because these dolls are sooooooo beautiful. I don't own one but I DO plan to buy one when the preorder goes up. Keeping a close eye on things. I mostly want the body to hybrid for one of my other girls but those faces are so beautiful I can't resist. I'll get one somehow I swear!

    17. Last week I got a shipping notice for my Victoria body I ordered through the artists Taobao (to replace my Model body in hopes that it will be a little thicker and more mature). I was told apparently body only orders will ship before full doll orders. I will see her in a week or two. I hope she's a keeper because the head I have sure is picky.

    18. Exciting! I hope this new body is a good fit for your doll's head!

As for my own hybriding adventures, I got my Impldoll Sicily head in July (?) and she finally has a decent pair of eyes so I can't help but share yet another pic. The Impldoll head fits just about perfectly on the Model 60 neck and the proportions work fantastically.

You can see all three resin colors really clashing- er, contrasting clearly here lol :sweat

    19. @Mainframe110 She looks cute! Luckily all resin tends to more or less mellow to match over time. :XD:

I just received me body! The Victoria body is definitely bigger and fuller than the model body. Unfortunately I no longer have my model body, so I cannot do a side by side. I compared the newcomer with all my dolls, and I think she most matches in size to a feeple65. They can share clothes, but sharing the bra department might not work very well as this girl still has a petite bust. I like how it's not completely flat anymore, so she fits more of the clothes I own, like this delicate SID size knit top by Olga Borontova.

She also seems better engineered: resin is thicker at places with a high breakage risk, like elbows and ankles, and she has a lot of silicone inserts, grooves of which are cast in her resin, to help with posing. They seem to hold in place firmly. Much more functional than the glued silicone strips the Model body came with (and which already greeted me halfway out of her thigh sockets when I unboxed her)! Victoria has the silicone rings in thigh joints, shoulders, and even her back so she can hold many poses MUCH better than the previous body.

The new middle heel feet are a life saver! (I think they are now called high heel feet, and the ones that come with the body for free, previous Model body's heel feet, are now promoted to being called "super high heel feet"??) With the super high heel feet I was not able to use any shoes because the foot was too arched and the heel didn't touch the sole of any shoe. The lower heel feet fit sd16 size shoes from Taobao perfectly, so she can now share those with my FeePle65 too.

Her ankles have a tendency to bend slightly inwards, but she came with a pack of silicone discs so I thought of putting a pair in her ankles and seeing if that helps. It's not super bothersome, just looks funny in photos. Another thing I also noticed is she has some difficulty keeping her legs spread while standing. She tries to pull them back together. She has some wire inserted in her thigh joints (doesn't go down to her knees though) so I considered removing it to see if it's contributing to the issue or battling it, because I have a couple other pre-wired bodies from different companies and they also have this issue with their legs.

She also came with a free stringing tool! Yay!

I suspect Fanff has likely swapped casters. I noticed first thing the resin is a lot more velvety to touch now, and also completely matte as compared to the previous shiny and "hard" resin. It's a bit darker and less yellow than the previous batch, but not noticeably, so combining parts from the previous and this preorder still works. I'm actually wondering if Fanff moved to using the same caster as LLT, because this resin feels exactly the same. My gold wedding ring also leaves temporary gray marks on this resin if I handle her while wearing it, and it never did that with any other resin except LLT! The downside is this resin is also very "porous", something which my LLT also was: stains can go deep and be difficult to remove. My doll came with a little bit of black smudge on her hand, likely from the factory or agent, and it took me minutes of scrubbing with a melamine sponge to even get it to fade!

Since I would rather not flood this thread by posting more photos, if someone wants to see my picture review, I posted it on my Instagram stories (link in signature). Unfortunately it's only up for 24 hours.

The head on the photo is Fantasiadoll sleepy Alice, the small 2017 version.
