Just dropping in to say hi, and to offer a bit of spam! ^_^ I recently adopted kurogane's adorable Charlotte boy. He's already fitting right in with the rest of my crew (my Bambicrony girl in particular seems smitten with him lol). Hasn't told me his name yet, but hopefully it'll come to me when I get him a wig that actually fits (I'm finding it harder to find a suitable 5/6 boy's wig than I'd thought it would be) and eyes that fit better (the whites on these are a bit too small for the eye holes). I snapped these with my cell so they're not the best, but proper ones will come in the future; I can already tell he's a pretty photogenic guy!
He's looking very happy ImmortalDarknyss! I also had trouble finding eyes and those were the best I had at home. I am looking forward to the new eyes and wig -and his name!
Hi, kurogane! ^_^ Yep, he's defintately having fun over here. I think the eyes you sent actually fit him better, but I wanted to try different colors. I eventually decided on these teal ones from another doll's stash for now. I'll probably look for a similar color for him to keep, just a little bigger size (these are labeled 14mm, but the irises look more like 12mm; though, if they were oval they probably wouldn't have the corner gapping issue). I also like this fur wig's color for him, so I might just order another one in 5/6 size, but I'd rather he had a fiber wig. I can't wait to get a chance to sit down and shop for him!
Immortaldarknyss: Might I suggest taking a look at Mint on Cards glass eyes? My boy wears 12s from there and they fit him marvelously.
Thanks for the tip, equine-aurora! I actually do own a pair of MoC 12mm eyes, but they're away with another doll getting a faceup at the moment. When she gets back I'll give them a try. Yuuma's such a cutie (yay to his crazykimochi hoodie, too! ^_^). I always recognise him & his sister when I see them around the forum. :3
I have a question about wig size... I recently ordered Pamela, but I'm having a hard time finding a wig for her. Since her head circumference is 15cm, would a 16cm-17cm wig fit her? Or would it be too small/big? Can anyone recommend a site where I can find a variety of wigs that could fit her? Sorry for the bother; she's my first BJD, and I'm slowly learning. xP
Congrats on ordering your first doll, Juunkii! ^_^ You'll want to look for 5-6inch (~13-15cm) wigs, or wigs for Pukifee/Lati Yellow size. 6-7inch is too big for these little guys. Leekeworld & Fairyland sell wigs that should work. If you're in the states & looking to save on shipping, Denver Doll Emporium carries a small selection of both brands. I've also been searching eBay; there's a decent selection from a few sellers on there.
Good question. I believe so (might take a little extra effort to stretch it on though), but I don't have any experience with dome caps so I don't know for sure.
I'm not sure honestly, the 5/6's are pretty snug but a cap isn't usually very thick so in theory the wig should still fit.

Hi guys! I just wanted to introduce my first doll, an Amber. Her name is Flea, short for Ophelia, and she came home about 2 weeks ago. (I hope this picture is sized right...) Obviously, I love all of your dolls, as they inspired me in my decision on my first doll and I hope to see more of them soon!
Aw, Flea's cute, Dara! Congrats on your first! ^_^ She's so colorful; I like her bright wig & the pattern on her hoodie, too. I'm sad to say I still haven't gotten a chance to get my boy a proper wig/eyes. I did take equine-aurora's advice and put him in my MoC 12mm eyes, but while they do fit nicely I don't love their brown color for him so they're still just temporary. As for his name, even though I already have a girl named Kumi, I keep going back to "Takumi" (or Ta-cha as Kumi calls him XD). I can't decide yet whether to stick with it or try "Takuma" instead.

Fantasy Doll is such a great company! I got my Glen about a year ago, and never once have I regretted it! Although I got her as a girl, I think she could easily be interchangable. (This is starting to sound like a review...) But I completely reccomend it, Glen is super cute!

Juunkii-Gwendolyn is really cute, I love her light colors- I think her wig and eyes go really well together BlueCircus- since my Amber is my first doll, I'm obviously not super qualified to answer, but personally I like how these guys pose. I haven't restrung her or sueded or anything, so right out of the box my girl stands well, holds arm poses fairly well, and can stand on one foot.
