Congrats on the arrival! They do look like brothers... though older brother doesn't seem so pleased to have the spotlight taken away!
I already have a head for her, and I am planning on buying her body, and eyes soon! I also have to do her faceup....not sure if I will succeed at all xD
I'm not sure if this is the right thread but does anyone have their cat girl? I'm trying to talk myself out of adding her to my MoC order that I'll be making next week. I wasn't planning on buying her initially but she's only $100 blank and only adds an extra $6 to my total shipping fee so.... How does she really look? There was only 1 owner pic of her in the database. I didn't see any posted here, but I didn't go through all 18 page of posts. I assume she's on the standard girl body?
Hey guys. ^_^ Just dropping in with a new pic of my Charlotte boy (who still, months after his arrival, hasn't yet decided on a name >_<). He's currently decked out for Christmas, sporting a brown-highlighted-black Monique wig & gold-brown glass eyes I brought him back from Otakon this summer, and a new Ken sweater over an old Ken shirt from my childhood. :3 He still has the default Charlotte faceup, but I'm thinking I'll probably send him out for a new one sometime in the new year. He's been hanging out a lot with my MSD girl lately (not sure if they're related in some way, or if it's some kind of little boy crush lol). Iron_Dog: Ah, the wonderful dangers of Mint on Card. lol I can't help you with pics of the cat girl, but it does look to me like she's on the standard body. I can imagine she'd be really cute with a realistic kitty-looking faceup.
It's really hard to avoid purchases when the doll is so cute, is one that's been teasing you as an idea for a while and is inexpensive in a doll-sense. I plan on turning her into Bast, the Egyptian cat goddess should I cave and add her to my order.
Here is my white skin Glen. He is now on a Bobobie yosd body so he is taller than he used to be! The fit is excellent and the color match is great. I had gotten the bbb body in a trade and thought I'd give it a try, and loved the look so much he's now a hybrid. I still have the original body and think it is really nice. Some dolls are so lucky! He looks GOOD on the BBB body! Oh no...now I might have to start hunting for heads to hybrid to the slimmer yo bodies I love so much! While I adore my girl, she's just so chunky next to all my slim yos. It's cute, and I love her look next to them...but between her and 2 others that are 'chunky' in my 1/6th resins...well...I told myself that was all that I needed, and everyone else has to either 1: fit with the slims better or 2: have a dramatically different body type than what I already own...but hybridding the Fdoll heads to bodies that fit better...I hadn't even THOUGHT of that before!
I bet if the resin matched up close enough it would be fun to mess with bodies, but if i tried doing that I would go crazy trying every way to make sure the resin was close.
I agree with you Ayas-Shadow -I like the slimmer yo bodies too. Once I put his head on the bbb body, I can't go back! Now I'm wondering what his head would look like on the new Doll Zone slim yo bodies... I have a white one so I'll try it out. Color wise they are all very similar. They look good to me, but I'm not really picky about the colors being 100%, and the wig was a happy accident! I made one up and it looked good on him! My only 'difficulty' is finding shoes that fit and are in scale. I have found that the 12" Kish shoes fit the smaller feet. But you still have to be careful as I got a pair of boots that said they fit 12" Kish and are very loose, but at least they don't look like clown shoes. The DZ, bbb, and FDoll feet are all very close in size with the bbb foot a little bigger. I guess I'm going to have to learn to make shoes!
Ravenfeather -I have ordered three dolls (each separately) off the Fantasydoll website and I had no issues. Each doll took approximately one month to make and ship. Payment was through PayPal and you could log in to your account to see updates. elly -Your Glen as a girl is adorable! It's amazing how Fantasydoll's can take on so many different personalities.
