1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fantasy Doll tiny dolls discussion part 1

Sep 12, 2007

    1. thank you kurogane!

Here a spam from her first outside shooting :

I've customize the makeup by adding a few freckles, blush to the cheeks and chin, some shadows ...
      This kind of thing ...
and I gave him a body blush :)

    2. elly -She looks amazing! Her face up is so fresh and light. I really like your girl!

    3. Elly- Louise is really cute, congrats on your arrival!

I hot-glue sueded Flea, my Amber, today, and the change is amazing! She was already quite sturdy at standing, but now her arms hold poses super well and her head can be more delicately adjusted. Now she can stand and hold her sister, a 1/12 bjd, without any help from pins or anything:

It was my first time sueding and restringing, but it wasn't hard, I definitely would encourage anyone considering it to try it out!

    4. Oh thanks Dara !
i've thinking about that for Louise, but i hesitate to do it cause i've never do before...
But it's seem so great after !

here a spam of her with my handmade headband:

    5. I just bought the cat girl but i cant find any good pictures of her( owner pics that is) has anyone got her and if so do you have pictures?

    6. I am thinking of getting the amber doll ... I'm new to dolls though ... what size would you call this doll? Is it mini fee? Little fee? I need to know what size to call it when searching for items and clothes for her.

    7. It's YO-SD or 1/6 sized. Littlefee is a term that Fairyland (doll company) used for their YO-SD or 1/6 sized dolls.
But Fantasy Doll YO-SDs are slightly slimmer than normal YOs, and could wear most Blythe and Barbie clothes.

    8. elly - Your Glen is so lovely! Especially with the changes you've did. Ohmy I might add that girl to my wishlist. On your first 4 pictures post, does she have company faceup? :)
Dara - Your Flea looks so sweet on that wig. It suits her. I'd love to get an Amber someday :)

    9. Thought I would post that my friends and I are all looking into getting Fantasy Doll's Catgirl/boy. We might order them all together and then they will be litter mates. *giggle*

I am in debate of ordering from the site or Mint on Card. Mint on card has them for $100, and Fantasy Doll has them for $88. not sure if there is a commission or something here, but we'll probably get them from the Fantasy Doll site.

    10. Yeah, it's actually cheaper to buy straight from the company; and if you also want a default faceup with your doll, MOC actually charges a bit extra for that even though FDoll offers it free with a full doll. You'd probably get it faster straight from FDoll too. MOC isn't a bad company or anything, but when it comes to FDoll, I buy straight from the company since there seems to be no reason not to.

This thread is pretty quiet overall, but I'll just go ahead and say I ordered a dark tan Rowan girl a couple weeks ago, so hopefully in the next month or so it'll ship to me~! I plan on making her a pair with my other Amber girl, with matching fashion.

Oh, and to FDoll tiny owners, a BIG discovery for me that I'm not sure anyone else has shared before: DearDoll clothes fit them! Well, to amend this statement, I know that DearDoll items like -dresses, shirts, jackets, headwear, and bloomers- fit them. DearDoll shoes and socks definitely don't fit, and I have yet to run into any DD long pants I could test out to see if they do, but I have a feeling they won't. Something like a kimono would probably also be problematic, since their length must end near the feet to look right. Maybe shorts and skirts could also work, but I haven't tried yet. The main difference is all in the legs, so if you see a dress design you like, for example, and on the DearDoll modeling it it might look like it ends near the bottom, an FDoll will show more leg.

I'll try to take pics of my girl in her DearDoll clothes for reference later and share; I've gotten this, this, and this.

    11. Okay so I'm thinking about getting an Fdoll. I really like amber but I still want to see other dolls too, so for the time being I'll be checking out other peoples dollys. ^_^ I probably won't get her for a bit until there's a sale going on. Does fdoll do Christmas sales? I know some companies have them every season....

Has anyone ever tried Hujoo shoes for an fdoll? I've been looking at what kind I can find that would fit and they say its 3.7-8cm inside. Anyone try these before? (I know its funny to get the shoes before the doll, but there so cute!)
Heres an ebay seller so you guys can know what I'm talking about:

    12. Wow, this thread has been pretty quiet, haha. I don't know if you're still keeping tabs here, but I don't think I've ever seen or heard of Fdoll doing any special sales. I feel like their dolls are already really affordable, for BJDs, so I can't imagine them being able to hold a sale on their tinies that could cut down by more than a few dollars anyway. Some companies like doing lots of events and sales, like Fairyland, and some companies almost never have sales on their stuff, like BlueFairy.

I said I'd take some pics of my girl in DearDoll clothes ages ago, but I've put it off until now! I finally graduated, so I have free time, and I got an new camera as a gift =3 . I'm still a total camera newbie, so my pics aren't great, haha, sorry.

Doesn't it look great on her?! Perfect fit! And she finally has the proper eyes, and a half-decent faceup, and everything. I'm so happy! Please note that those Angell-Studio shoes are too big for her, but because of their style, I can synch the strap enough that they at least don't fall off easily. Eeee, it really is different when a doll is 'complete' as opposed to 'WIP'. Well, I still need to get and do a lot with her, but at least now she's fully presentable <3 . (Well, except that she really needs some panties under that little dress of hers...)

In other news, my dark-skin Rowan was supposed to arrive a week ago, since their website estimate said 'within 2 months', and I e-mailed them asking about it five days ago, but I haven't heard back from them yet... I'm starting to get a little concerned if they don't answer me within a week -sigh- ... I was sooo looking forward to Candy's little companion! T-T

I'll cross my fingers that I'll get a reply soon, and in the meantime, I hope to take more pics of little Candy to share. I hope other FDoll tiny owners get a little more active here too! It's summer now, guys! BD

    13. almykir your Candy is super cute! And that dress fits her stunningly well. These guys are a right pain to dress. Wyatt's been around for almost two years now and I still don't have shoes that fit him well enough.

But here's my boy, looking all dapper in his new Ken doll shirt.

    14. almyki Thanks! I figured its still an awesome price even if they dont have a sale, but I'd kick myself if I got a doll then they had one. I emailed and they said they probably weren't doing sales this year. I'm goin to order an Amber sometime next month. I'm super excited, I want to get her by my B-day, so i'm ordering her super early. ^__^

    15. Thanks, Pretrichor! DearDoll clothes are the only clothes I can buy for these girls, but I don't plan to buy a bunch for them anyway. I hope I can sew the rest for them instead ^^; . Shoes are IMPOSSIBLE, it's true.

Your boy looks so cute too! I love how completely different he looks even though he's the same sculpt, and such a pretty tan. That shirt and those glasses look great on him too. Most glasses look a bit strange on smaller dolls, but these look like they fit well =D .

Ohyeah, and after a bit more prodding, I finally got a response about my Rowan girl. It was pretty concise after the long wait, which was a little disappointing, but he said that it would ship 'very soon', so I'm happy to know my order is moving along. I bought matching outfits for my Rowan and Candy, so it'll be super-cute with them together >w< !

    16. Adorable! :D

I've just subbed to this thread as I just got the shipping notice for the dark tan Charlotte that I ordered last month. Hopefully I'll have photos to share in a few days! :)

    17. ...and she's here:

She's bald for now as I'd been planning to try her in cast-offs from my other tinies, but I hadn't realized that her head would be an in-between size, so my Secretdoll Binu's wigs are too small and my Island Doll Kevin's wigs are too large. Ah well, an excuse to shop!

I'll need redo her lips and cheeks at some point, but even with the over-the-top red I think she's pretty adorable!

    18. Awesome! She's such a cutie! That's a beautiful tan! I haven't seen a lot of Charlotte. ^_^ My sister liked her more than Amber, but I'm still planning on getting Amber soon.

    19. Thanks! :)

Hopefully you'll get your Amber soon too!

    20. It's a bit late, but congratulations Hervoyel, and I can't wait to see her in a new wig! Charlotte is one of their few sculpts that I like too, along with Amber, Pamela (who's almost exactly like Amber, haha), and Rowan. I finally received my own Rowan recently too, and I think you and I got lucky by snatching a dark tan when we did; I checked the site right after I got her, and I noticed that they don't offer the color in their dropdown selections anymore! I'm wondering if perhaps it's more difficult to produce than they thought, so they're removing the option for now? My own Rowan took about three months to ship, a month longer than their site estimation.

But it turned out so nice! I remember one person in this thread posted about their own dark tan girl and how it had a few patchy area issues, so I bought my girl expecting it. but I hardly see any problems on my girl--nothing that's noticeable at all! I love it!

I took a few quick pictures earlier, but none of them turned out well, uuugh. I need to get better at it, haha. I can't capture their cuteness properly! But here they are finally together.

Rowan's face looked a bit different from what I expected from their one angled photo, and I didn't like the difference at first, so I had hoped I could try modifying it a little later... But it's grown on me the longer I've had her, and I might just leave her alone as-is. Well, it's mostly just the upper lip, I think. But I think she's really precious regardless. Love this cute outfit for her! They even have little matching bears.
