Fantasy Doll tiny dolls discussion part 1

thank you kurogane, i look forward to seeing your glen's photos. i ordered just before christmas and fd were really fast as i never expected to have my order so soon, what with all the holidays. i found they were a brilliant company to buy from. at the same time i ordered a msd boy and he is so poseable too!
i really love this little one, i wasnt sure when i ordered if i would like them as they are a danity yosd but she is great!

 

Goody, I'm glad to hear they are on the small side! I seem to end up with the slim, or dainty sized dolls so I know his outfit will fit! Anndd, I'm glad to hear about the short wait time too. So maybe the end of this month?!

 

This little ones are in some ways dainty. They're a little shorter than a lot of Yo-sized dolls, and slimmer. But they're not really slim, either. They're sort of a fun 'in between' to a chubby toddler yo and a slim yo. My girl goes with my BBB and RS yo-sized kids, and she is shorter and chubbier than they are. She still fits into most of the Barbie stuff I have for them, the Liv stuff, too. But there's also a lot of that stuff she's too chubby for.

I SO need to get photos of her now that she has 'new' blind eyes that are WAY less creepy looking than the ones I made just so she'd have some...

 

Really? i have a problem with my boy being too skinny for most yoSD clothes.

 

Ayas-Shadow -Love the wig! Very unique, and her eyes do look nicer. No name... Being stubborn, that girl is!

Well, I have a Dollsheart outfit that I'm planning on using... It fits my other yo, a 5Star boy. It will be interesting to compare the two companies bodies.

i found that mine was quite easy to dress i bought bylthe colthes and they fit perfect! her wig is a latti 5-6 and thats a great fit too, shoes are the critters shoes by goodreau!

i found she is the same size clothes as i used for the kaye wiggs yosd! which is great as they can share clothes

Thank you kurogane! Don't let that innocent look fool you. Brooke is quite the brat. I mean that in the best way possible.

 

I just ordered and recieved my normal skin Fantasy Doll Glenn, who I named Liam, about three weeks ago from MintOnCard. I must say, these little guys are addicting. Liam is pestering me for a sister so it looks like I'm going to save up to get a Pamela because they look just enough alike that they could be siblings.

Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to get some more pictures of your Rafe, Ragdollkitty. I really like what I've seen of her so far and would love to be able to get one eventually.

 

Ooh, I would love to see your Glenn as that is who I'm waiting for!

I'll have a picture up of Liam soon. I ended up having to buy new rechargeables for my camera and they are charging now. I have discovered that I like the baggy look that most yosd clothes have on him as it makes him look like a little boy and he and his sister, who I have decided to name Kyrie, are supposed to be four. I will have to make them matching outfits soon though as I am staffing a convention soon and I am planning on dressing them up as the creepy twin rabbits from Mawaru Penguindrum.

 

Oh please post pics! I would love to see your siblings. I'm getting so impatient! I have Rio's outfit all finished, now I just need him

 

Sorry this took so long. I just got out of lab. Here's Liam in his current clothes, the university post is holding his new clothes hostage.

Man I need to take Yuuma out. He used to be the only doll spammed in here and now I have others to chat with, which makes me happy, but now i'm not spamming him lol. Oh and I am super jealous of all of y'all that ordered after the new bodies came out. They came out only a few months after I ordered Yuuma, I was so mad cause as much as I love my little boy his posing abilities leave much to be desired. Like that pose right there above me, Yuuma wouldn't have a prayer of pulling that off with his arms.

 

He is actually my best poser, or he would be if his elastic was thicker. He is very kicky right now, but MOC is out of town for a while so I might have to buy some pipe cleaners and see if that helps. I can't wait to get his clothes in tomorrow, I really hate living on a college campus sometimes. If the mail does not arrive ridiculously early it will not be delivered till atleast the next day.

On another note, it looks like his sister is going to be spoiled. I just ordered her on Friday but I have almost finished crocheting her a little dress and she will be getting what ever clothes I get in the girl wicked stitchery grab bag I ordered. I do need to make her a wig though. And figure out how to take better pictures.

 

Yeah I've heard good things about the new bodies and have considered upgrading Yuuma but no one would buy his old body. Almost everyone knows F-dolls single jointed bodies are terrible posers. He'll just be my little cutey that can't pose very well. When I order his sister I might get him some new string from a different company and see if that helps his posing any. At 2 it's about time to upgrade his strings anyways.

 

Yay Their clothes have arrived at my dorm now. I should be able to get them at about 3, just have to wait for the mail to be sorted, which might take a bit longer today since it is valentines day. I can't wait.
