Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. Fantasy Skin Colours- What's your favourite?

    1. I'm a HUGE fan of fantasy styled bjds and every time I see a line that favours more non traditional resin colours I am instantly SUPER excited about them. I think they look so unique and have so many possibilities!

      The other day I found a doll in BRIGHT highlighter yellow and that made me think, are there other colours that you don't typically see that you wish were utilized more often? I'd love to hear everyone's favourites!

    2. Well, I wouldn't say that they're uncommon, but my favorites are lavenders, blues, and mints. I've actually got a few purple resin dolls on layaway at the moment - a Studio Bitamin Oni girl and a Dream Valley Howard. Greys can be fun to work with too! And I always love seeing other colors too - pinks are great, I've seen some amazing red dolls, and Luts has this gorgeous yellow fantasy resin that I haven't seen a doll in yet, but definitely want to!

      Speaking of Luts, here are my pair of lavender and mint grey boys. I love their fantasy resin colors.

      I'm also sorely tempted by DollPamm's upcoming fantasy resin deer girls, they look amazing and allow mix and matching for parts.

    3. I would love to see more mint or blue dolls. :) I have a Tendres Chimeres Zouie in red resin, he's my only 'fantasy' colored doll but he's so cute!

    5. I think the lemon yellow that Villitunes has is fun, I'd like a Lamoon of hers in that color someday.
      I like oranges and purples, but really any fantasy color gets my attention.

    8. Blue and green! I haven’t really owned fantasy dolls before but my green RS Dai is scheduled to arrive on Thursday and I’m really excited for her. I’ve seen so many other owner pix of blue and green dolls and they never fail to amaze me. <3

    11. I only have a grey doll, but I really enjoy looking at pastel pink ones! They're so pretty!! I doubt I'll ever have the need to own one though.

    13. All of them but I think my favorite ir gray. I do have several doll in lavander and blue as well. This week I ordered a Dollpamm’s deer in yellow! At least I won’t have to worry about it yellowing into a weird color, it’s a banana from the get go!

    14. I do love the lavender, mint, pastel blue, etc ones. More muted colors in general, I love. (Not grey for some reason, though.) Also, like, pure black. Especially if people then do a black and gold design! The contrast you can get from it is gorgeous.

    15. I have a doll in Soom's Light Violet, which is more of a blue with a hint of purple in it, and its a lovely color. I would love to have a doll in deep red eventually.

    19. I love all fantasy colors (except gray for some reason…it just leaves me a bit cold, no idea why.) I love any pastel shade and have green, blue, mint and lavender in my collection. If I had to choose a favorite however, it would be lavender. I have a Peakswoods MSD and a Luts SD in that color…and given a chance to choose, I seem to always choose lavender over other shades during the ordering process.

    20. For me it is grey :) it is a neutral/classic colour which i wouldn't get tired of when owning a bjd in that colour for a long time, and it is a great base to add cool or warm tones and metallics show up beautifully... I do have a Soom brick red and any face up I put on my Tridy looks really bad and have been wiped and has been blank for a long while now :( but thinking about that, black and gold would look great, so something to think about and get around to doing soon ;)

      I would have included my pale purple /lilac resins but they yellow quite easily... if they didn't they would be second to grey (my fav colour).
