Favorite anthro dolls?

My love of anthros leans towards the "animal, but stands/walks like a person" and generally don't prefer the "human head/body but has animal parts/muzzle".

The two I own are a Dream Valley Rah, eagle version - he's got this amazing eagle head, and beautifully detailed raptor claw feet. There's so much character and sleekness in his sculpt!

I also have a Miracle Doll Dio - he's an anthro weasel who is quite literally just "animal who stands like a person". He's just. A+++ sculpting in my opinion, he's not proportioned like a human at all. He's *really darn heavy* too, considering that he's only 42cm tall. But I am in the minority when it comes to loving his sculpt - I've only ever seen one other owner (on insta), and they weren't madly in love with him as I am with mine xD

 

This is the first time I’ve ever heard of or seen Dio and I’m now obsessed. I hope I can find him or he’s re-released one day!

 

He's absolutely stunning and I love the work they did on him!! They definitely need to re-release him, and make more animals in this style. I'll buy every single one xD

 

I like them when they have paws and legs that are more animal-like. If the body is really human-like, then I prefer minimum animal features in the face.

 

I definitely love the coral reef anthros. The kitty was cute, but I got two murder bunnies so I'm passing on the sheep this go around.

While not looking for them, I keep finding myself drawn back to Dollzone. That wolf they released recently is very cool, but I got a cat on the way and already have a taru in a 1/4 boy body.

I did buy the miracle doll mad rabbit though, and kind of has me off buying another miracle doll since it prioritized looks over posing I think a little too much. Wiring, sueding, and two people stringing him, it still feels like it's a big accomplishment just to get him to stand. Of course he looks great and I haven't seen another anthro like him, but compared to my taru whom has been his constant doll companion, the difference is stark. The Dollzone was standing easily without wiring even before I realized he was strung too loose.

 

I just bought a Fairyland Felidae head, amazing realistic sphynx cat sculpt. No idea what I'm going to use as a body though haha

 

I own one anthro at the moment, i had 3 but sold the 2 of them cause I am not really into anthros but I kept my fenny from Luts he is chef's kiss . I love him cause he seems cute serious and mischievous at the same time lol the other anthros I had were dollzone goat and sheep they were very cute but I couldn't bond with them so when I started thinning down my collection they found a new home.

 

I don't have one particular favorite, but Doll Chateau has some great ones.

My favourite anthro and pet companies are Dearmine and Camellia Dynaste.

 

I've recently fallen in love with anthro dolls and so this thread is a huge help! I like the ones that have some type of paws/more animal like features than like, for instance, an animal head on a human body. I just wish I could find more in the 1/6 size.

 

Oo, I have new favorite anthros to share Okie and Mii from Miushima! I have an Okie at home and just ordered Mii in the last preorder. They are chibi style and soooo cute! (The head is 1/3 and the body is 1/6) You can choose different ear and tail for them. I recommend anthro lovers to check them out

Those are super cute and tempting. Something to keep in mind as I sit on my hands for any more BJD purchases pre-con.

 

Soom is one of my favorites bjd's company. I really like cat ears and paws. It's so cute ^_^. I had little gem Trond and Cheshire (sold).

 

I was going to say I was surprised nobody has put Pipos here, but they've really stopped making BJDs... technically i guess they're still BJDs but I'd call them more figurines. But if you can find some of their older dolls second-hand, they also have some nice anthro dolls! I have a Pipos Charlotte whom I love to bits.

 

My favorite has got to be Soom Petit Gem Ondiin, and Dearmine Lily in 2nd place. I've been very very lucky to find both secondhand~
