Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Favorite fantasy color BJD's?

    1. What are your preferences and thoughts on fantasy color BJD's?

      I prefer my dolls to not be realistic in skintone, but I find it's harder to find these, especially in larger dolls. My favorite BJD color is Soom Cheshire Cat's light violet, and I would love to find more BJD's in this palette (pale violet/blue/periwinkle/lavender/gray-blue), if you know of any.

    4. I have several fantasy colours. I'm particularly fond of grey and have various shades of grey from Soom, RS, IS, 5Star and Lume. I've also got a limited green (with translucent green hands/ears) from Impldoll, RS red and old blue (the blue has mellowed to a lovely pale turquoise), an Argonautica translucent deep blue and a sparklie seafoam green and sparklie light purple dolls from Batchix.

      My favs are probably the translucent resins. They're just so cool and unusual looking and I love the unusual.

    5. Grey, lavender, blue, and all the combined shades. I only have one doll in any fantasy colour and I love his resin soooooo much.

    8. I don't have any at this point, but I do particularly admire the grays. I'd love to find a gray Leekeworld Dark Rihael someday, though I don't think there are too many around.

    9. I personally like the cooler, lighter shades of purple and blue, and pale grays as well. I love darker colors too, but they seem really difficult to paint and photograph. Lighter colors can pick up blushing and accents better. Soom's violet is really nice.

    10. Personally, I own blue and grey. I'm fond of both. Blue has been fun to photograph- though the faceup was a bit tricky. I'd like to get a bright green doll at some point but it hasn't happened yet.

    11. Grey is my favorite fantasy skin tone (and one of my favorite resin colors in general); I have quite a few of them in my collection. I also really like the translucent resin on smaller dolls.

    12. I saw that Soom has an olive color resin, and it being one of my favorite colors, it would be awesome to have a dollie in that skin tone!!!
