I commissioned Amy to do a face-up for my MSD (named Noah). Amy was very communicative and very friendly, letting me know every step of the way what was going on, what was holding her up, and apologized each time. She was absolutely lovely to work with.

And the results were amazing! He looks exactly like I had him originally pictured, and she followed my (vague) instructions to the T! And she sent me pix throughout the process to ensure that things were how I wanted them. Not to mention, she was kind enough to fix the chip in his nose from an accident for free!

Amy is a wonderful face-up artist, one whom I will most definitely be keeping in mind for upcoming dolls and I would highly, HIGHLY recommend her to anyone. Her work is gorgeous, her prices are reasonable, and she's absolutely lovely to work with. Again, five stars!

I commissioned AmyAngel to paint a faceup on my Resinsoul Rong. I'm extremely pleased with the results; she did an amazing job.

Quality: the faceup is stunning, the details are intricate and lovely. She created a custom tattoo for my girl with the barest of descriptions. I asked her if she would mind just creating something "wood spirit like" with a fantasy twist and she totally blew me away. The lips and eyelids have a lovely shimmer on them and everything is beautiful. I feel like she really helped define the doll in my mind and cemented her character in place.

Shipping: Amy let me know when my doll's head arrived and gave me a tracking number for when she shipped back to me.

Communication: Amy responded to all my PMs within 2 to 3 days. When I asked for more pictures at different angles, she promptly met that request. When I had a small issue with PayPal and my bank account, Amy was willing to take a credit card payment instead.

Time frame: The commission took 11 weeks total including shipping - I sent my girl in mid July and received her home in mid October. However! Part of that time included things that were not in Amy's control, including multiple storms and even a hurricane! I live several hours away from her so I knew when it was raining too hard for her to be able to work on painting dolls. And I also went on vacation for a week in mid September, with no internet access. Amy was very accommodating about that and decided to hold my doll until after I got back, instead of risking shipping her while I was gone. This was a long commission, but I'm satisfied with all the reasons why. If it takes longer than expected, Amy will be sure to let you know what's going on.

All in all, I am very happy with the results of my commission and I would recommend AmyAngel to anyone. Thank you for such a wonderful transaction.

 

Oh my gosh, where do I begin?

My Petsha has been sitting around face up less for about 6-8 months, and I just didn't know what direction I wanted to go with her.

I ran into AmyAngel at DragonCon 2011, and gave her Petsha to take home with her and make over!

I just got her home a couple days ago and AmyAngel did such a WONDERFUL job on her! I'm so happy with how she turned out - I look forward to working with you again for a few more dolls!
