1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feedback for Demi669 & DemiDesignz

Mar 2, 2009

1. I was part ofmDemis latest 2079 Realms GO. I don't check DOA often so I was a bit late in responding to things , but my shoes arrived a week or two after I paid the shipping invoice. I know others had issues but I did not.

2. I participated in Demi's 2079 Realms GO. Although there were delays (as other members have detailed previously in this thread), Demi was always clear when she would be away, and kept the thread updated on progress. I received a refund for items that were missing from my order, and the rest of my items arrived safely packaged. I consider it a satisfactory end to the transaction, and I would do business with Demi again.

I wish you all the best, Demi, and I hope you get some rest after this ordeal. <3

3. I was a participant in Demi's 2079 Realms group order. While there were some delays, she's proven to be trustworthy and all my items arrived safely.

4. I took part in Demi's 2079 Realms GO. Despite some unfortunate snags, I had faith everything would be fine and trusted Demi to come through for us and she did. I wouldn't hesitate to participate in something Demi organizes in the future.

5. I participated in Demi's 2079 Realms GO. I did not feel her communication was to the standard in frequency, clarity, and politeness I would have hoped with an order of this size, and the fact that it took from early November until late March and the threat of legal action to receive a shipping invoice to get the shoes from her to me was highly disappointing. The shipping taking place shortly after paying the invoice was a positive note at the end of a long, painful process.

Most likely I would not participate in a group order, especially of this size, run by Demi again, especially if the timing were to happen around the same time of the year. I do understand working in retail, but I do not understand why it took two months after the Holiday Season to see any activity again.

6. Was in Demi's 2079 order. While my items were shipped promptly following payment of the shipping invoice and arrived safely, there were far too many dark spaces in Demi's communication, and the communication to the group as a whole was just lacking in the information I could see people asking for, so I would not be willing to join a group order with Demi in the foreseeable future, though an immediate purchase/sale transaction would be considered. This position might change in the future if Demi can rebuild a better track record.

7. I was in Demi's 2079 order. She unfortunately misspelled my name and forgot to send me the second shoes but I received both of my shoes after I waited. There were delays and I did wait long but it was a pretty big group order so the delay was somewhat understandable and I got my shoes in the end so I was content. I won't mind joining her group order if it was smaller and i believe she's been very honest with me the entire time so i would be totally okay with dealing any sales transactions in the future.

8. I also participated in Demi's 2079 GO. While communication was sporadic at times and there was a long period between the order arriving to her and my stuff being shipped out, I never had the feeling I wouldn't get my items or that she was being dishonest. I can understand that she must've felt very over-whelmed and frustrated at times during this GO and that showed sometimes in her responses, but I have no ill will towards her. I hope she and all members are able to take some time to get over this stressful situation.

As of right now, I would be hesitant to join a GO with Demi. If things get back on track for her, I would consider doing business with her again in the future.

9. I participated in Demi's 2079 GO. I am satisfied and am happy with my order in the end however like many have stated the wait was long and things could've been handled better. At this time I do not think I would deal with her again for a GO order but I would be okay dealing in other marketplace transactions with her :)

10. I was in the 2079Realm GO Demi669 organized. She had told us it would be a long order and I was prepared to wait.
When real life struck her, I was prepared to wait still. Comunication was sporadic but still there.
Now I'm happy to have recived my shoes and other goodies. Packing was very nicely done and it was shipped as specified.
Thank you very much Demi.
If you ever organize anything I'm interested in again, I will still put my trust in you.

11. I was a part in Demi's 2079 Realms group order. there were some delays, some to be expected due to the large number of buyers, but she’s came through at the end and all my items arrived safely.

12. I will never participate in a group order again. Communication was awful and it was stressful from start to finish. There were problems even before the order was placed but people kept having confidence in her. Overall the order should never have gone through. Everyone would have had a less stressful time and in my case at least it would have been cheaper to have bought them off of ebay after the shipping and handling costs were added. What a joke!!!

13. I participated in the 2079 realms group order run by Demi and it was a very stressful experience. The communication was terrible, Demi chose to be passive aggressive with many of the participants and was slow to update on any progress. She received the order from 2079 realms in October and November and I just received my parcel on the 1st of May, 6 months after she received the shoes. To top this off, part of my order was missing but by the time this was discovered it was too late to follow up with the company.

I did receive a refund for the shoes I did not receive and the package was reasonably well packed. However, having to threaten to take legal action due to not shipping my items in a reasonable period of time, the lack of anything remotely resembling communication and wrapping up the order taking 6 months with others still to get their items means I will never under any circumstances deal with Demi669 again.

14. I was also a part of the chaotic 2079 Realms order run by Demi. The order arrived to Demi in full by November, yet nothing was shipped for months and I only just received my shoes on the 24th of April.

I believe I was one of the first people to bring up problems with the order, but when anyone chimed in to ask what the delay was a lot of people would jump on them and make them feel bad for having concerns. This happened frequently until more people started to get impatient. At this point it was met with very passive aggressive comments from Demi as well as comments to try and make us feel bad (ie. I'll just go sit in a corner since everyone now hates me!)

My order was marked as "special shipping" as I requested that my items be marked at $20 and as a gift at my own risk, which Demi agreed to. If this was an issue I would have completely understood her refusing. I never feel it's fair to pressure someone to mark my parcel down for custom fees that are my responsibility. But Demi agreed. Since it had been awhile for her to send my shipping invoice I just reminded her of it and she agreed again and even stated that the shipping cost was with it marked at $20. I received my shoes marked at $50 regardless. Normally I'd assume my request as ignored by mistake but when she agreed initially I'm not sure why it was suddenly marked at $50 and I'm partially wondering if it was done on purpose for being one of the first to complain about the length of time this order went on, as well as me not being candies and rainbows when she made excuses to why she hadn't replied to my email. Luckily it didn't get hold up by customs but if she didn't want to do it all she had to do was be honest and tell me initially.

I understand completely that real life gets in the way, and that real life is more important than my doll shoes. I have however heard this isn't the first time that Demi has taken ages to finish orders (she took commissions for wigs that would take almost a year to be done) so part of me wonders if it's a mix of Demi just taken an age to get around to things and real life which made this order so delayed in being shipped to participants.

I had no doubt I'd get my shoes as I don't think Demi is a thief, however I believe the length of time she took and the behaviour shown when people got understandably frustrated makes me not want to join or transact with Demi in the future. I would advise caution for anyone wishing to join or commission anything from Demi that would require a wait.

15. Another negative feedback for Demi's 2079 Realms Group Order.

I won't go over again what has already been covered, but this order quickly became a farce once any negativity was put Demi's way (See Rinoa's feedback). From a more logical standpoint, though, I found her to lack the necessary skills that are needed to host a group order. She seemed;

• Unable to keep track of peoples orders and information being passed around,
• Unable to keep participants sufficiently updated (the 'main post' was updated sporadically rather than systematically - a basic organisational skill),
• Unable to communicate one-on-one when needed (whenever you sent her an email she would not confirm she received it - a basic organisational skill),
• Unable to pack and send correct items (I appreciate apparently whoever helped her packed them wrong, but ultimately this was her responsibility),
• Unable to send items within any self-given timeframe,
• Unable to ask or answer questions correctly (throughout the thread Demi frequently would misinterpret questions or manage to not actually answer what was being asked, leaving participants confused and frustrated),
• Ultimately, unable to make up for all these mistakes and problems with sufficient politeness or professionalism.
In conclusion, I see no positive aspects to Demi's services as a group order host and therefore will not be buying from her again.

16. And annother negative feedback for Demi's 2079 Realms Group Order.

Datsuki pretty much said everything I was going to say in the above post.

I will add my own extra experiences in a very short list.
- half my order was never placed, which I didn't find out about until the moment of shipping to me.
- if I hadn't objected to my items being sent in the most expensive manner available I would paid a lot more than if I had bought the items that were ordered from a regular retailer like ebay. Which was not the idea of joining a 2079 realm order in the first place; the idea it to get it at a good price.
- I had to wait 8 months for my incomplete order to arrive (to me), from the moment the items arrived at Demi's.
- I had to remind Demi to refund my unspent money, twice.

In general I had to ask for every step of the process to done after the items arrived a Demi from 2079.

I will not be joining any of Demi's GOs in future.

17. Demi669 purchased a damaged/modified Juri05 head from me. Payment was extremely quick, the communication was great, and she let me know the head arrived safely. Thank you so much for the excellent transaction! POSITIVE!

18. I would like to again apologize for all the stress that I put on everyone during my last 2079 Realms GO. It took me a while to realize it but I was going through depression and handling it terribly. I have since then, gotten professional help and am doing much better. After stepping back from being an influential member of the BJD community for over a year, I really hope that I will be able to gain everyone's trust and understanding. I seriously appreciate those of you who sent me private messages of encouragement. Those tiny bits of love helped me so much more than anyone could have imagined.

19. I sold a Feeple60 boy body to Demi and everything was great. Thanks so much for the timely payments and letting me know he arrived :)

20. Demi bought a pair of Minifee hands from me. Communication and payment we fast and they let me know when the package showed up. I would definitely do business with them again. Thanks! :)
