Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       * When did you order?
      About a month ago.

      * How was the communication?
      Excellent!

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Credit card, and very easy!

      * How long did it take to ship?
      A few days after payment was completed.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Excellent.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes, actually, pictures did not do the doll justice.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Very much so! I recommend anyone to D&F's.
       
    2. Exactly. We screwed up. To be honest, we're still not sure exactly what happened. We're usually better at this, but saying that doesn't make a mistake like this any better for the person on the receiving end.

      I know Kathy's apologized to you privately already, and I'll do it again here publicly.

      Order status tracking's a great idea, though surprisingly difficult for individual and smaller retailers. I know I appreciate it when I'm wondering where my Amazon order is. Again, I know it doesn't help in the current situation, but I have been looking into making something like that available on our website somehow.

      Anyway, just wanted to publicly acknowledge our mistake and apologize.
       
    3. Yep, and that's why I posted that I didn't know quite how to characterize it. It was obviously a glitch, especially given the practically instantaneous arrival of the desperately-desired Leeke Sweet that was a Christmas gift last year :)

      I just killed off the other one as it was pointed out to me by a good friend that it came across MUCH more negatively than I had intended. I was mostly just so surprised that something like this could happen that I felt I needed to say something.

      And actually, maybe it serves as a good reminder to all of us that we *aren't* dealing with huge companies here and maybe should cut people a tad more slack than I apparently did. It's easy to forget that and expect machine effiiency everywhere. My apologies if I offended anyone.
       
    4. That would be awesome if you could impliment that. I feel awkward having to email them to possibly see if my Feanor is in yet, or how much I have paid on it. I feel like I'm bothering you guys emailing, or wasting your time. Itd be great to be able to just look it up online.
       
    5. I have had several great transactions with Dolls and Friends. Every one went flawlessly. Kathy and Leo are the best!
       
    6. I recently did a pre-order for the Dollheart Dusty Rose Fer outfit (SD13 girl sized). I ordered in Sept, and the outfit came into stock in Oct. I got an e-mail as soon as the item was in stock, with a choice of shipping. The item was shipped within a day of that, and I got it in the mail super-quickly!

      Dolls And Friends is a lovely store to deal with. Kathy is helpful and friendly. I have absolutely NO complaints, and only POSITIVE feelings about the transaction.

    7. I've had great buying experiences with Dolls and Friends! :) All positives and no complaints.

      Hmmm....ordered Unidoll Jace, Ark, their outfits, hands, armor; Elfdoll June; and Notdoll Lucy. My most recent order was August 2007. Trying to resist another for a bit....LOL. Quick communications and easy to buy....I just whip out that plastic. If I have any questions....I get quick answers from Kathy and Leo.

      My Lucy was in stock and shipped right away. All of my other orders were 'preorders'....so there was the usual wait periods from the companies....but D&F shipped to me as soon as things arrived in stock.

    8. I just received My CH LJ-Hades from them. They.Are.AMAZING!!! Their e-mail questions are quick and helpful and the phone number they give REALLY works so you can call them with a concern and they don't think (or at least don't treat you...) your crazy ^_^;;

      * How was the communication? EXTREAMLY GOOD both by email and Telephone!

      * How easy was it to pay? Very, since I only used my credit card.

      * How long did it take to ship? Got him today. 11-13-2007, keep in mind I ordered him at the end of the day on the 8th and they had him shipped by friday.. plus monday was a postal holiday. I paid for Priority Mail. so I think it came in in a good time frame considering all this ^_^;;

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? I'm satisfied.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Other then the excusable (random wig and eyes) They YEP! XD

    10. ^___^ Dolls and Friends also has a local shop here in WA state. The staff is really helpful even nicer than they are helpful... I often buy stuff at their store because I'm too impatient to wait for things. =P
       
    11. I bought my first doll from Kathy and Leo last year. An Angelregion Little Fair Cien boy. Now I have Tohaku as well as several other dolls. Since then, I've purchased a wig not shown on their site from For My Doll and I'm currently in the process of paying off my DIM Achernar that I have on layaway. Kathy is such a wonderful person to deal with and I definitely recommend her every chance I get when someone wants a doll but doesn't have all the money up front. Regardless of what's on their site, they're happy to order something you don't see up there. I have a friend that's getting a Dollmore Sweet Memory Issac on layaway, so if you don't see it...just ask and they can order it.

      My husband has an aunt in Washington where they're based out of...I'm hoping to one day go over there with my dolls. I want to meet Kathy and thank her for everything. :D
       
    12. Back to say I recently received my Serendipity Lovely Freyja from Dolls and Friends :) There were a couple problems with my order, but Kathy has taken care of it and I'm pleased as punch! Yay for Dolls and Friends!

      * When did you order? Around October 15, I do believe, of 2007 I used layaway though, so only now I can post my feedback. :)

      * How was the communication? Excellent. Kathy replied to all my questions, even the stupidest ones, in a very friendly and polite manner. She kept in contact all the time and it was just fantastic dealing with her! Best transaction I've had ever!

      * How easy was it to pay? Extremely easy! (Paid through paypal) I only regret them being reluctant to take Western Union, but it's still extremely easy to pay them.

      * How long did it take to ship? It was shipped the next couple days from finishing payment.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? It was fantastic.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? It looked even better! :D

      When did you order? - Sept/Oct-ish of this year.
      How was the communication? - Excellent! I had been discussing payment plans with Jennifer for a Nabee fullset (because I already have a Mir on layaway), mentioning that I was probably going to sell everything but the head on arrival. Hearing this, they simplified my life infinitely by informing me that they had a Reminisce Nabee head on hand, which I bought immediately. What kind of store sells you something cheaper to make your life easier? Not many! :D
      How easy was it to pay? - Very, I asked Jennifer to toss in a tiny head cap and send me a paypal invoice, which I received and paid for quickly.
      How long did it take to ship? - I had the package within just a few business days.
      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? - Absolutely, especially considering that quality includes thoughtful and caring customer service!
      Did the item look like the sales pictures? - Yes
      Were you satisfied with the product? - Yes!
      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? - N/A - though they resolved my own issues that were hardly their concern to worry about. The extra mile! :)

      Yes. Dollsandfriends distributes the products of other companies, so I'm really commenting on that: they are fantastic. Kathy and Leo are a great combination of professional and down-to-earth, and every order has been a true pleasure.

    19. Dolls and Friends are the BEST!!
      Over the past few years I have purchased clothes, wigs, Serendipity Cumi, and most recenly 3 Dollheart outfits. Kathy, Leo and everyone there are just so warm and genuine. The monthly doll meetups are a delight!
      Emails, confirmations, Shipping, everything business related, are all fast, responsive and friendly. Their enthusiasm and impeccable taste for all things doll, is amazing!
       
    20. I ordered a Serendipity Valencia last year on a short layaway, and it was a smooth transaction. I got emails quickly and they very extremely nice!

      This year for Christmas I got a giftcard to their store from my Mom. I used it later in the day to order a jacket and a pair of hands. The only email I recieved as the automated email saying I had placed an order. A week later on Friday I hadn't heard anything from them and there was no packages for me, so I emailed through the site. I got a quick response that the package had been sent to a different customer with the same last name and that once they got it back they would send it out immediately, and also they did email back on the 26th but apparently it didn't go through. I replied and said OK, but I was dissapointed, and emailed them back about it. Again, I got a quick response, and they apologized again. The next day I got an email saying they got the order back and would post it the following day (Monday 1.7.08). They also emailed on Monday to say it had been mailed out. A couple days after this they offered a wig, a pair of eyes, or a pair of shoes since the order had been sent to the wrong place, I picked a pair of boots that were on sale. Both packages arrived today.

      Overall, I can say they are the nicest people, very friendly. I'm not sure how they sent it to the wrong person, mistakes happen. I wish they had a way to track things better, maybe online or something. And in the future I'll likely buy from them again, but I'm just putting this out there for buyer reference. :)
