How was the communication?
Excellent....responses to my emails were fairly quick.

How easy was it to pay?
Very easy.

How long did it take to ship?
They took about 2 days to ship on both items. (I finished paying for both near the weekend)...both went out on a Monday

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes....

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
better

Were you satisfied with the product?
yes

The only thing I wish, was that there was a better online system for layaways...Itd be great to know how much is left, how much you've paid and the status of your preorder just by logging in on the website.

When did you order?
I think it was in December '07 or late November '07 (It was preorder, so I had to wait a while)

How was the communication?
Amazing, responses to my e-mails were always within twenty-four hours, usually within three or four. They were patient with my random questions and everything.

How easy was it to pay?
Paypal, FTW. Very, very easy to pay.

How long did it take to ship?
It was sent out the day I paid for shipping, arrived two days later.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yep!

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
He looks even better!

Were you satisfied with the product?
Definitely, he's absolutely amazing and perfect and... I'm not obsessed, really!


I would definitely recommend D&F for anyone for anything. They're all super nice, and everything was done quickly. I love these people, give them money.

 

I have heard lovely things about Dollsandfriends, so I put a Soulkid Miryu on lay away with them. Communication was very friendly and my questions were answered promptly. She was the last Miryu so I asked about the wig and eye colour, which were described as random (always the case with BJD!) Imagine my surprise when they were randomly just exactly what I had hoped for.

I expect to pay her off early, but it is wonderful to have the option of taking six months. That is a great luxery.

I had bought a doll privately from Jennifer in the Marketplace here on DOA, and she was so great to deal with I thought I should try the shop...and I am very glad I did.

 

Ive bought a few dolls from Dollsandfriends now and their service has always been wonderful. They have always replied to emails quickly and their layaway service has allowed me to buy dolls I really love. I arranged with them to have a regular amount taken out every two weeks until I have paid off the layaway and they were happy to do this for me. I cant recommend them enough as they have always provided me with a wonder and personal service. Ive never had any problems with their shop and I am sure if I did it would be fixed right away.

 

I've pre-ordered from them two separate times, once for two of the Chocolate Vampire tinies from I think orientdoll, and another time for a pink "Little Witch" dressed baha. Both times I put a deposit down with Paypal and then paid off the rest when the doll arrived a few months later.
I didn't have to use the layaway option either time since it was pre-order and I had the money by the time dolls arrived, but it is a helpful option for people who may need a little more time to pay.
Kathy has always been very helpful, great at communicating and fine to work with. I definitely recommend Dolls and Friends

I have purchased a few things from them and gone to meets/trunk show at the shop- had a great time! Super friendly service- great communication- great sense of humor- items arrived quickly- packed super well- did a lay-away and all went very smoothly- cannot tell you how grateful I am for layaway!
Will absolutely purchase from them again- and again- and *sigh* again!

I got my AoD doll from dollsandfriends ^_^ Great site, great communication, lightning speed delivery, its awesome I'm pre-ordering a Ringo from them.

 

I put a Freya on preorder, with a few extras. (Finally! All my girls will have underwear! ^^;;; ) Will update as things progress...

 

Out of the 14 BJDs I own, I've gotten 8 of them through Dolls and Friends, nevermind a wig and a pair of eyeglasses. They're courteous, pleasant to deal with, incredibly friendly, and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. I've only dealt with Kathy and Jennifer, but if the rest of the people there are as great, it really makes me sorry I can't go to the store in person. In fact, I'm trying to figure out how it would take to get the money together to order another 5 or 6 dolls from them!

I love Dolls and Friends. Got my Sooah on layaway and they shipped as soon as she was paid for. Bought some wigs, glasses and some dollheart shoes and have a Soom Nion on layaway. Their prices are great and I can't wait to pay off my Nion.

Excellent. The follow-up emails were sent within 24 hours, and I was informed when the doll shipped as well.
* How easy was it to pay?
Very easy, once I got used to their procedure. I paid with Paypal, and it was a bit odd to 'make' the payment on their site, then wait for an invoice in order to actually pay for it.
* How long did it take to ship?
Shipping was lightning-quick. Once I finished paying for her, which was over Memorial Day weekend, she was shipped out the following Tuesday.

Yes, definitely.

Yes. Of course, Dolls and Friends is a re-seller - so this is a bit of a moot question for them. I LOVE the quality of Elfdolls.

As I see it, the 'product' Dolls and Friends offers is a large selection of dolls from many companies, excellent and friendly communication and customer service, and quick shipping. So - YES, I am very satisfied, and in fact, have another doll on layaway with them as we speak.

 

I'm not sure if this helps but I went to the store real time and they where so nice! I payed in cash for Pendragon and left very happy. They helped me pick out a few wigs and included a little swim suit for free!

A Doll in Mind Flowne with faceup, plus some pairs of underwear and some stockings and tights.

Way back in March (did a layaway, plus the DiM dolls take awhile to go out...)

How was the communication?
Awesome! There were a few odd lapses where it took a few days for a reply, or I'd be getting messages back in five minutes and then it would take five hours, but overall A+.

How easy was it to pay?
Very easy! Just wish they had a system where I could check the balance instead of having to bug them for it. ^^;

How long did it take to ship?
Well, there was a mistake with my shipping, and they kind of... Misplaced the box. Didn't arrive in time for my birthday because of that. :/ Oh well.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Well, all of the items that were underwear and the like are incredible! Very, very cheap but wonderful quality. The doll itself, well....

....Didn't look a THING like the pictures. Though that was completely a problem with DiM.


Were you satisfied with the product?
The doll? The doll itself, yes, though the faceup NO. BUT!!!! That was nothing to do with Dolls and Friends. In fact, it made me like them even more! I took pictures of my girl (who not only didn't have the same style as the default pictures, but her faceup was shoddy) and sent them to Dolls and Friends. And you know what?
They got me a refund on the faceup! Full refund! I could not be more pleased with them. They really went out of their way to help me and respond quickly.

I pre-ordered Dollheart's Splitting outfit for SD/SD13-girls.

When did you order?
Sometime in the beginning of May. The preorder was one month in advance
so I got my items last week.

How was the communication?
Great, I got answers to my mails a day after I sent them.

How easy was it to pay?
Very easy, I paid trough Paypal.

How long did it take to ship?
About 2 and a half week with International Priority Mail.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Very much so, Dollheart's products are always wonderful and incredibly
detailed while the price is very reasonble for a full outfit with lots of
different parts.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, exactly the same!

Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes! I love it! And I'll definitely order from Dolls&Friends again.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I was satisfied but uneasy about future expensive clothing purchases. I emailed the company and they said they hadn't thought about it. I will buy again, hopefully they will wrap/bag them in the future.
