I ordered a fur wig from Elena. She was great to work with, prompt with answering questions and her wigs are really great! Shipping was fast as well. I will both recommend her and buy from her again!

After double checking, turns out I gave her the wrong zip code. But, the wig made it home safe and sound! I absolutely love it! Thanks so much for being so patient with me! Shipping took a bit longer than I expected, but I understand I jumped in at the last minute before she closed her wig shop temporarily :O So that was totally my fault! I ordered a wine red wig for my incoming boy from her and it's beautiful! She was super fast to reply to pms and answered all of my questions quickly. She put up with a lot of wishy-washy can't decide-what-I-want behavior on my end and was just generally pleasant to deal with. I would definitely order from her again.

and I realize that doing tiny little highlights with red would be difficult, so if you have any ideas on how to achieve something similar then thats fine
the cut is what I value most important. the long all around with straight bangs in the front.
Colour: long black with long red highlighting

I got a reply on the 24th going over my design, confirming it was possible but changing the black wig fur to a fur she didn't have in stock but provided a picture of it, claiming it would work better for my style.

I replied to that message on the 25th, saying I would reply when I got a confirmation message back.

I received a message on the 27th. With an apology for the delay. (no excuse, just an apology)

I sent payment that same day (27th) via paypal and sent a PM to confirm

on the 29th I received a reply saying that she had gotten my payment and "This one will be on the way soon, I'll let you know when it's in the mail."

I didn't hear from her for a while, so I sent a PM on 4/08 (12 days after payment) asking on the status of my wig, remember that for my last wig commission, I was told it would be 10 days (but I didn't know if this applied for custom wigs as well)

I received the following reply on 4/13 (15 days after payment, 3 days after my last PM):
"Thank you for checking up, and I'm SO sorry for the wait. I usually try to get the custom wigs done in 10 days also, but life has gotten busy as I've been working to get the rest of my orders out. Would the end of this week/beginning of next week be acceptable to have it in the mail? I'm happy to take some pictures first if you're eager to see it. ^_~"

I replied the same day (4/13) stating that it was fine, but I needed the wig to arrive by May 8th because I would be moving.

on 4/21 I posted on her sales Topic:
"has everyone who ordered (since ~march 25th) gotten their wigs shipped yet?
I'm at over 21 days, Elena said she'd try and get it out into the mail this last weekend, but I still haven't heard from her and it seems she's leaving tomorrow.
I'm moving soon so this is really important :/"

I got the following reply from another commissioner on 4/22:
"I ordered mine Apr. 1 and got them today So they should get to you soon if they've been shipped."

on 4/22 (9 days after my last PM) I get a reply from Elena stating that she just shipped my wig that day. Thursday of the week she said she would ship at the beginning of. 27 DAYS after I sent payment!!

My wig did arrive very quickly, just over a week before it was in my mailbox.


The difficulty of communication and the sluggishness of shipping was just unacceptable to me.
I recognize the fact that Elena was planning to travel, but I received no warning or notice that this would affect my commission at all prior to order, and I never would have commissioned knowing that it would be this difficult.

I have ordered a wig in the past from Elena and everything was flawless, but this purchase just ruined everything. Spite and Malice lost my business at least for a long while.

I bought several wigs from Elena They were all well made, and I'm satisfied with their quality^^ I paid on the 1st of April, and my items were shipped out on the 22nd of April. The reason given was that she had more orders flooding in than she had expected before closing for hiatus. I wasn't bothered by this as imho order floods are to be expected when a hiatus, or order period end is announced.

 

I received some custom wigs made by Elena and they're exactly as I described. High quality fur wigs, great communication and pleasent service~

My wig feedback:
My custom wig (seen here: http://knibitz.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2pjn24 ) surprised me a bit, the red was a lot brighter than what I thought was getting and the length of the black hair was shorter than expected.

However, upon communicating with Elena my disappointment she agreed to try at my wig again, free of charge. She also profusely apologized for her communication issues during my original purchase.
I opted not to take her up on her wig offer as I just dealt with the wig not looking how I expected and learned to tolerate it, and now it's just normal an doesn't bother me anymore.

The wig itself is of perfect S&M construction as usual. The way in which my custom designed wig was constructed, a difficult design for fur I thought, was masterfully constructed with sewn in highlights that seamlessly blend with the black in the wig.
This is is going to /last/

I've already been playing with it constantly for about a month and a half now and it's not showing any signs of getting even the slightest bit worn out, and I'm definitely not the gentlest of wig owners!

So I really would recommend S&M, she really does make flawless wigs.
We just hit a bit of a rough patch with our individual transaction, but that's an issue that happens with everyone.
Still doesn't make it OK, and we both realize that, but there was an attempt and making it right, and that was greatly appreciated.

 

I just received three beautifully made fur wigs from Elena and I think I am officially hooked on Spite and Malice! The entire transaction was very smooth, pleasant and friendly - I'll definitely be back.
