1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feedback for yoake

Aug 25, 2006

    1. Not good feedback. Neutral, angry and hurt

I'd avoid selling your dolls to this person.

User has "no haggling" in their own posts, yet thought it was okay to lowball me and haggle me. They lowballed me a price on an already cheap doll, I accepted anyway because the market is so slow, they sent me messages about the shipping option AFTER I had sent it instead of asking questions before they paid or before it got sent. When it arrived, they discovered a small sealant rub (not chipping) I didn't happen to catch before I sent her out. I didn't notice where it came from at first, so I didn't know how to answer, but apologized. I felt bad. I replied with the knowledge I had at the time of the cause of the rub, this person wrote back and said it was fine and that they could just hide it under a wig (it was near the cap edge, very far away from the face) and they would just seal it. I thought all was well, but then they came back to me hours later and just decided to be upset about it. They left me accusatory, inaccurate feedback without giving me a chance to talk to them. All of this whiplash happened in a span of minutes while I was out of the house without a chance to just talk. Wigs sometimes make rubs. It's not on her face. I hardly played with her and simply didn't notice. That's just it. That's my fault, but I don't really understand how it's this big of an issue, especially when they got such a cheap doll out of it with free, also pristine extras. Buyer didn't even give me a chance to feel bad or talk, to which I would have apologized profusely if they did.

I lost over $700 on this sale and they have found every reason to complain and be unhappy. I used to love Lovesprung and looked up to them back when I first started the hobby. They were a huge inspiration for me to pick up my own sewing machine and I was excited they wanted one of my dolls, and this has been a nightmare. They lied to overblow something and didn't even give me a chance to talk and had the audacity to say I was being deliberate. She called my poor doll nasty words like defective, she said she was "only a good price if she was pristine" over a small sealant rub at $700 of a loss for me and she was being extremely overdramatic as if the entire face would chip off over a basic, common wig rub. Nothing this buyer says makes any sense and it seems like she's just mad for the sake of mad. I was so happy to sell her my doll and now my heart just hurts. I apologized for not noticing, I felt bad, and this seller still tried to imply she wanted a partial money return for an even CHEAPER doll. Which makes me feel like she was the one trying to be deliberate.

Not to mention they didn't notice either. And they didn't ask for extra pictures either, nor did they ask any additional questions. They tried to pull the "I wouldn't know what to ask for" card which doesn't make any sense for someone who's been here since 2005 and is apparently this picky.

Don't sell to them unless your doll is pristine. They will find ways to nit pick. I've been in this hobby for 10+ years and made a small, honest mistake and they blew it far out of proportion without giving me a chance to fix it. They were bent on making me out to be a bad person. Now my feedback is stained because of an overreaction to a mistake I wasn't even given the chance to fix, so I get to give my side, too. I would never wrong someone in my own community, nor would I treat them the way this person did over a mistake. I take beautiful care of my dolls.

I'd practice caution selling to this person at all stages in the transaction.
