1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feedback for Zeta-Byte

Feb 4, 2008

    1. Zeta-byte and I traded a wig and boots for a bunch of tiny metal miniatures. She packed EVERYTHING very well, even the tiniest forks and spoons. Very pleased with everything and I'd trade with her again in a heartbeat! :aheartbeat

    2. Zeta-Byte bought a Doll-Leaves Puppet & Star set from me :) She paid exactly when she said she would and was a wonderful pleasure to chat with! <3

    3. Zeta-Byte sold me an MSD size sword. It arrived safely. thanks so much! Great to work with.

    4. I bought a Puki Pong from Zeta-Byte. She was really nice and answered all my questions. Since she didn't have PayPal, she was nice enough to mark the doll SOLD while I organized my first money order! I appreciated that. She kept me well-informed the whole time. I would be happy to buy from her again. :)

    5. Bought a little Des head from Zeta-Byte and in spite of not having a car, she made an extra effort to get the head to me in time--and included eyes! Beautifully wrapped too!

I purchased a Delf El from Zeta-Byte. Communication was a bit slow at times, but always very nice. There was a short delay in shipping, for a viable reason, and I received a tracking number as soon as he shipped.

The packaging could have been better. El's parts were in ziplock bags, between two sheets of bubblewrap and some newspaper, his head and torso the only things wrapped in bubblewrap (his hands were in a bag with his arms and other small parts). There was no insurance on the box, as I was told there would be, luckily nothing arrived broken.

He was advertised as in "good condition" and not having any "scratches or chips/breaks/dings". When I received him he was extremely dirty (especially his legs), his face-up was chipped and peeling, and his head (near the hairline) and headcap were covered in sticky tape residue. His left ear has dents in it from an earring. The earring was mentioned in the thread as a "Fake Cartilage Piercing", but no damage to the ear was mentioned. His right earlobe has a small dent and there was damage on the bottom of one of his toes on his right foot.

I got him for a good price, so I didn't expect a perfect doll, but I did expect one in "good condition" with no "scratches or chips/breaks/dings". Had all of these things been mentioned in the thread, I wouldn't have had a problem with them. She did include some extras with him, which was unexpected and nice to receive.

      Overall, the transaction was pleasant.

    7. I bought from Zeta-Byte a Dream of Doll (DOI) Limited Edition Kalix, and I believed communication was good through the whole transaction. She shipped him in the time frame that she said she would, he arrived at my home safe and sound. Didn't expect him to be in pieces, but I was happily eager to string together my first SD doll. He was dirtier then I would have suspected, at least I was able to clean the parts before I put him together. There were some unmentioned marks, that weren't on the thread, but no biggie to me at all. I was just happy to receive him. He will be loved and cherished. Plus he arrived on Halloween...what a lucky vampire. Thank you again! Positive feedback! Would do business with again.

    8. I bought a DoT Camine from Zeta-Byte, which had been tanned with RIT dye. I was well informed about his mods, so I knew what to expect and wasn't nervous about purchasing a modded doll. Seller was good about communication, replies were quick and honest. I was able to pick him up in person as I live nearby, and I can verify that the seller's description (and requested pictures) accurately described the doll I purchased. I was overall pleased with the transaction--though I had to jump through hoops somewhat in order to pay the seller (I wasn't notified until the last minute that she'd prefer to be paid in cash >< But everything turned out alright, and I was satisfied.)

In general, a positive experience :)

I bought a lumedoll Saiph from Zeta-Byte, in the descriptions it was said to be in good conditions except for some air bubbles (which I understand for an artist doll), but the doll arrived very dirty, the face up is
chipped everywhere, he has a very big purple mark from the wig over all his forehead, and some scratches on the body.

The package wasn't good either, almost all the pieces came with no protection at all, neither the hands or the head, they were only inside a plastic bag.
Also I asked her to mark down the value of the parcel because she gave that option in her sale thread, but after all she didn't, and I have had to pay 40$ more.

Not everything has been that bad; Zeta-Byte was kind enough to find a paypal account for the payment since it was the only method I could use, and I really appreciate it. The communication was friendly, and she gave me the tracking number after shipping.

    10. purchased a tan bobobie body from zeta-byte
      arrived safe today thank you

    11. I purchased an armless Luts Minifee body from Zeta-Byte through the MP - she was quick to ship and it arrived today very well packaged. Thanks for everything - hugely appreciated!

    12. I bought a damaged Doll-Leaves Puppet & Star set from Zeta-Byte :)
She was quick to reply and it was shipped out fast.
It was very well packaged and the doll and outfit were in a better shape than I thought it would be.

The only downside was that she put a higher value on the box than what I paid, which gave me a high customs fee.

Other than that, the transaction was positive. Thank you~!
