1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feedback thread for Marsh

Sep 12, 2006

    1. Sweet Whitewings,

I know she'll see your post. All the kindness of Marsh's dear friends and customers bring a little comfort in a world so suddenly diminished.

Thanks to everyone for such love and loyalty to a woman who deserved it all <3

    2. I was so sad to see the message on her site. I recently ordered and recieved a couple of wonderful pants from her. I am so sorry she is no longer with us. She will be missed.:(

    3. I'm so sorry about Marsh....she was a lovely person....she made wonderful pants for my dolls...it's so sad :(

    4. Hi, I'm Marsh's sister. This community was so important to her and I can see why. Prayers to all of you who are missing your friend like we are here.

    5. Dear DakotaSong,

Welcome. I'm glad you're joining DOA and sharing the love of dolls, as Marsh did so very well. Our prayers are with you too :aheartbea

If I can be of any help or answer questions please don't hesitate to PM me.

    6. :...( OMG, I just found out and now I'm in tears.

    7. I was very saddened today as I just found out about Marsh's sudden passing. :...( I had purchased several custom pants for my dolls from her and even though I was just a customer, Marsh made me feel like an old friend.
The BJD community not only lost a truly talented person but also a sweet and kind friend. I am forever thankful that I at least got the chance to purchase some of her creations and experience her generosity on a personal level.
In a PM that she sent to me in response to a commission, she commented on when traveling she loved to visit material shops. I let her know that I was from San Francisco originally and told her of a wonderful material shop downtown called "BRITEX", Marsh knew "EXACTLY" what I was talking about. She was not only familiar with the store, but told me that it was one of her "FAVORITES". I told her: "It's an amazing material store with 3 floors of material". She agreed and we went back and forth about this store...so I have "BRITEX" and BJD's in common with Marsh. ;)
MARSH: I will miss you and your talent severely and hope that up in the clouds you are enjoying yourself and doing whatever it is that makes you happy. I will never forget how kind and generous you were with your talent. You always gave me "EXTRA" material for my dolls if you had it so that I could make a matching shirt or jacket and for that I will always remember you. I still have the houndstooth print material you found for me on request along with Gwen Stefani's (My minimee's) pants that you made. One day I promise I will finish the doll so she can wear the beautiful pants you made her...Thank you and We'll get the chance to meet someday...:aangel:

    9. I hope this is okay to post - I just found out today about Marsh and I have such a heavy heart at reading the news of her passing. I had the pleasure of ordering pants from Marsh over the years and she was always so friendly and such a generous person. Wonderful person who touched so many people!

    10. It is so very nice to see people still posting. Marsh was taken from us so suddenly and we all miss her so very much, but when she gets feedback on this thread it is a little comfort for the soul. She'll never be forgotten and her great and generous heart will hopefully be celebrated on this thread for a long time to come.

    11. Happy Birthday, Marsh...we will never stop missing you. This is one of my favorite places to come to remember.

    12. It was always a part of my ritual when a new doll arrived to order a set of pants for them from Marsh and I will greatly miss the lovely conversations we had. Marsh you brought so much joy to me I will forever hold you dear, thank you so much for the past years and for the time spent chatting.
You are missed greatly marsh! May fond memories guide your way.

    13. I was looking for a place to express my deepest condolences. It didn't occur to me to look here until just now.

Marsh, we spoke a few times about finding the right fit for my hard to dress dolls. I always found your advice to be very useful. Just days before you left us, I got William, my Volks SDC Miko (just like your Miko, Raphael...actually Raph inspired me to get Wills). Now whenever I play with him I think of you and how much you are missed. :( I promise to treasure my Miko always and remember you...I will remember to treasure the people around me even more now.

Peace be upon you, my dear friend.
      :aheartbea

    14. There is a lovely dedication to Marsh in Pat Henry's new book, Tonner: Two Decades. It talks about her knowing the value of play...very sweet.

    15. I can't believe it's nearly been a year. I didn't order any pants from her but got a pair second hand. They're adorable, and it's nice to have something she made. I always wanted to order but kept putting it off. A small regret of mine. Rest in peace, and know you are missed.

    16. It's been 2 years...

    17. And it doesn't get easier.

    18. Happy birthday, Marsh.

    19. Amen. Happy Birthday, Marshmallow Girl. You're missed :aheartbea

    20. Awwww yes she is missed. I just recently got out a pair of the pants she made for my guys....and I think of her every time I do.
      Two years already...wow.
