~Feedback thread for rykaan ~

I commissioned Rykaan to paint five of my dolls. There was a little hiccup with shipping, but that was all on my end. When the dolls finally made it to her, she did a wonderful job with them! I had a fairly decent idea of what I wanted, and she did them all beautifully. Even with five dolls, the turnaround was lightning quick! I was surprised that she finished as fast as she did without sacrificing any craftsmanship. I totally recommend Rykaan for someone wanting cheap, gorgeous faceups (especially ones with freckles). I'll definitely be keeping her in mind for any future dolls in need of painting!

 

This has been my third time commissioning rykaan and once again she has done an absolutely stunning job on my doll! This time around I commissioned her to work on one of my pet dolls and she did an amazing job on him. Rykaan remains one of my favorite face-up artists to work with and I highly recommend her.

 

I commissioned Rykaan for a face-up, bodyblushing + freckling and modded teeth gaps for my MNF Celine boy. It was a joy working with her! She was always friendly and professional and wonderfully patient whenever I wanted a change for the face-up. She completed all the work in a very short time, but she didn't slack on the quality of her works as everything looks superb! My boy just looks gorgeous and Rykaan's freckling work is just amazing! I would absolutely love to commission Rykaan again if the opportunity arises! Thank you again!

 

This is my second time commissioning rykaan for faceups and I'm as pleased now as I was the first time around. This time I sent her two heads to give faceups to and they both came out looking wonderful! She was very friendly and professional and shipped the heads out promptly after they were finished. Definitely plan on commissioning her more in the future.

 

I commissioned Laura (rykaan) for a face-up and asked her to mod my RS Song's elf ears into human ears. I have to say that I am extremely pleased with her work! Not only is she extremely friendly and professional, her skill is impeccable! I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

PS: If you're looking for an artist who can paint freckles, look no further... hers are, by far, the most realistic I've ever seen painted on a BJD!

 

I commissioned Laura (rykaan) a second time, requesting she mod my Felixdoll Brownie GoGo's elf ears so he could be "human." She didn't even have to remove his default face-up.

Totally satisfied with her work, absolutely amazing experience! His eyelashes got messed up on the way to her, and she even offered to replace them for free.

I can't recommend her enough! She's just that awesome!

 

Rykaan modded three parts for me, including an FTM mod. Everything turned out looking just the way I wanted and confirmed with her,
and she was extremely quick and helpful with communication, shipping and the mod process itself.
I've dealt with a few modders before, but rykaan was definitely one of the best, not just in her modding skills but also with the quality of her service in general.
Definitely going back to her for future mods!

Commissioned rykaan to do a faceup and full body blushing on human + fantasy body&parts for my Soom Teenie Gem Yrie. To say that least, she not only brought the vision I had for my girl to life, but her workmanship in general is fantastic. Excellent communication, very easy to work with, and well worth the wait (albeit a quick one at that - such fast and professional work!). I actually had been a fan of her work for a while, so I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to commission rykaan. Highly recommend her to anyone and I look forward to commissioning her again in the future!

 

I bought one of Rykann's Hikali heads from her and she was great to deal with! Very straightforward, excellent communication, head arrived in perfect condition and very well packed and protected. I'm impressed. A+++!!!

After a lot of friendly and quick communication the lovely faceup was completed,
and then the head was promptly shipped and arrived very safely and securely packaged!

To say she is amazing is a HUGE understatement! She is beyond that! She is super sweet, fast to respond and just all around wonderful! I wish I was good with my words to describe what a great person she is. I had sent my Bobobie March to get double jointed and a face-up and oh my goodness! She was quick to tell me if there was any delays, she updated me on everything and added some modification I added later down the road.
I just received her last night I wasn't able to play with her because I had to leave the house and by the time I came back it was late, but I did feel her new joints and moved them around. they feel so smooth! I was scared that I might break them XD I absolutely love her! I can't wait to get out of school and go home to play with her for a bit before going to work.
The face-up is adorable and exactly what I hoped for and her joints, I can't get enough of it! She added s-hooks to her hands so she could hold poses better and I was so happy she did that. I would do business with her again and just really enjoyed talking with her. ^___^ Thank you so much!
