1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feeling overwhelmed

Sep 4, 2023

    1. I believe in you! :sumomo:
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: put away one pencil/pen/brush.

    2. I'm the opposite, I like to have a todo list that will take more than 10 years to work through. Kind of like a giant quest log. It means I never get bored.

    3. I recently fell back in love with BJDs. I had a personal tragedy a few months ago and ended up owning my childhood home. It's been a non-stop cycle of getting rid of things, cleaning, finding more things, and never-ending legal paperwork.

But now that it's winding down, I feel... clean. New. I love autumn. Dolls no longer feel like a burden but a source of joy. I still have a metric ton of stuff I need to purge from my collection but it feels managable now.

    4. @SaltedPretzel I'm so sorry you experienced a recent tragedy. I've been going through something similar and it's not fun. Hang in there!

    5. Thank you for your kindness. I hope you hang in there too. :)

    6. Sometimes, yes.

I really need to organize better and prioritize my projects better next year. I had all these plans for this year, but spread myself too thin at the beginning of the year with too many projects. A few months in and I was feeling very overwhelmed because I couldn't keep up with all of my Dolly New Years Resolutions.

I kind of stopped most of my projects until a fun Halloween photo a day thing juggled me back into it. I still want to do everything that was on my list, but maybe I just need to pick one of those things, maybe two, if I can work them in together, and save the other projects for later.

I have to keep telling myself that I don't need to do it all at once.
