Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. First Doll- Grail Doll? What if I break him?

    1. I definitly don't advise you to buy some doll only to practice in doll-care. I bought my first doll, because I wanted to know what bjd is like. She was not a grail. She was awesome, but... I didn't realy fall in love with her. And I felt guilty for a long time, until I finaly decided to sell her. Hope she will be fine. My grail is with me now, I'm so happy. Do not temporize and get the doll of your dream! There is nothing dangerous of difficult in caring the doll)

    3. You don't want to be stuck with just an "okay" doll even if it is your first - it's awfully expensive to buy a doll just because ! I'm of the opinion that if you really want something and work hard for it, it'll all work out - that is to say, you'll appreciate the value of it and handle it perfectly consequently. Don't worry about the things that can't be helped - like yellowing - buy the doll you want and go from there. You'll be fine :D

    4. I think It's best to get a practice doll first myself. I DESTROYED the poor head on my first doll, and the body isn't much better.
      debating weather to get a new head and mod the body myself, or to sell it o someone else with the same intonations
