Floating heads - How do you treat it when it's JUST a head?

I have two floating heads, a Lishe mod (Alistair) and a Shincho mod (Theo). Alis shares a body with Vin/Eiji and Theo shares a body with Hayes.. but not often, as Theo isn't really complete yet :\

 

I have one now, a sleeping head Ally (cherishdoll) and up until a few days ago i had a elfdoll special K limited- but my Domyua body arrived so now he is no longer headless- and it matches wonderfully!

I want to buy a Unoa sist face plate and gradually build a doll up- so alays on the look out for a face!

 

I have one floating head at present: Sharakti, my Sch. Head A. I hope/plan on getting him an SD16 or SD17 body at some point, but while I'm waiting for the right time to purchase that he tends to stay in his little box where he can't be damaged. I'm still waiting for his wig to arrive, but when he gets that he might well share Li's body for the occasional photoshoot whenever I miss seeing his face

 

Last count was twelve. I'm not even sure if that's accurate anymore. They live in the best padded and most robust of the doll boxes and presumably, y'know, enjoy themselves as much as they can.

I would like to do more body swapping, but I'm somewhat limited by gender and skintone ;.; My NS CP heads for male characters have no problems, as there is Isabella's body for type I's and now Balliol's body for type IIs, and I can swap heads on my MNF Elf Shiwoo with no problem as they're both boys. I've got three NS CP heads for female (Or probably female) characters, however, who have no where to go, two Ricky heads who don't seem to match ANYONE even vaguely in skintone, a MSD Latidoll head who's male and for some reason objects to being put on his sister's body (Although he might have to put up with it for a while), and although I've got a BW CP body now, Icarus and Hezekiah will have to wrest it from Lucifer's cold, devilish fingers if they want to swap.

... I think that pretty much covers everyone. I'm really bad for floating heads.

 

Well my Namu, Dante is a floating head.
I've wanted a Namu (whole ofcourse) for a long time, but I've never had enough to just "go ahead and buy it"-money, so two months ago or something. One on the danish forum was selling hers(head) and I thought - Hell, I'll do it. - and so I did.
I would never have bought a head if it wasn't the Namu, so now I'm searching for a body to put him on, though from time to time I let him borrow my Ducans (Bad resin-match)

Since my borrowed F-04 head is using her body, Vanya has been degraded to a floating head, poor thing. Then I have an old Obitsu 60 lying around SOMEWHERE, and finally there's the School A head I'm in the progress of selling.

 

1...Soom Gena...She is sharing my Miyu's body. I will probably pick up a Bobobie body for her (which costs less then the head did..ouch!)

 

I have 2 at the moment
1 will get his own body at some point the other will share and only come out now and again for photoshoots

 

I have nine. I almost never like the bodies that come with heads I like, so I buy the heads first and the bodies later. I never share bodies, but just wait until I can decide which body I want and save the cash to create my doll. Those minimees are killing me.

 

2 (SS-Lishe, SS-Yder), and they're driving me crazy @_@.

I'm getting a girl body over Christmas so the number can be temporarily cut down to one, but the body is planned for another head so I'll probably end up with two heads sharing one. SS-Yder is a NS head and I have no idea when she's going to get her own body in the right color @__@

 

I only have one, my SS Yder mod. But he's out for his face up right now so I don't have to look at him. I'm getting him a body for Christmas (with some help from my boyfriend...) so it's all good.
...I just hope that nothing else appeals to me in the marketplace or I might have a problem........

 

*lol* My friends call me the queen of floating heads... my problem is mostly that I had to sell off a bunch of bodies to pay bills. But the heads I have in a box currently are dolls I really love (most have been modded), and they will have bodies again, one by one.

There's a total of 5: Caelen, my Lishe mod; Solaris, my Soony mod; Elyas, my dreaming El; Ari, my Yder elf mod; An as of yet nameless Iz head (she's in progress); and Darryn, my Juri'06. That's it, I swear.

I have one floating head (MiniFee Shiwoo dreaming vampire) and one on the way: Lati Yellow grown up Laches will come with an extra head (Benny), and I don't know at the moment what I'll do with the floating heads. Neither of them has a face up.

Maybe I'll just use them to practice face ups.

 

Just one. Doesn't share a body. It's in the process of being Mod'd. CP Na Nu Ri...2006, I think?

I had 2 Bambicrony heads floating around. Elf Sisley and Elf Lotti. But Bambicrony updated the skin-tones so I was forced to buy them bodies. Before then, I had sculpted busts for them to sit on. I dressed the busts in little shirts and things.
