1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Freakstyle Mini Girls- Salome and Eve

Jul 9, 2014

1. She looks great! did you make her accessories too?

2. Oh how cool! She's got a pouch for gathering stuff too! I wouldn't mind seeing more photos of her in that outfit. Looks like there's some detailing on the belt?
I really like her wig.

3. @Redrosette, I have done all her accessories except the pouch - I got that on a trade from another BJD collector.
@aernath, there is detail on the belt. Similar figure as her tattoos. It might show bit better in this pic:

4. she_flame She's absolutely gorgeous.

5. Neat! You have put a lot of work into her. She looks nice!
I love your backgrounds too. It looks so pretty there!

6. Thanks, both. And aernath, working with dolls - making face ups, designing clothes etc - is the best part of the hobby. ^^ Taking photos is more like documenting the dolls - or making photostories, but that's another thing entirely.

7. Ahh, she_flame, she turned out looking so pretty! I love the outfit you've made for her <3

Ahh, thank you! <3 I didn't see this before now!

I'm a bit behind on making clothes for Nivah as compared to where I'd want to be, but I tried Yue's ruqun on her today, and it looks suprisingly good. Considering Yue's about 37cm, and Nivah's 47, I'm surprised it even worked at all. Of course, it doesn't look much like a ruqun anymore like this, but I now know I'll have to make her a dress in this style.

8. dont know what a ruqun is, but those colors look good on her

9. Thank you <3 A ruqun is a type of Chinese hanfu. There are several types (this one is modeled on a qixiong ruqun as it's usually worn, but on Nivah I have to tie it a very different way, so it looks more like a regular dress with a wide cleavage).

10. I can't get over her wig. The outfit and her fave up and everything about her is so gorgeous, but I really, REALLY love that wig.

11. Yes, the wig is perfect, with the braids the perfect scale!
And wow, does she look great in that outfit, whatever it's called! Definitely, hers or not, she does need one!

12. More photos of Tashinka. Full shoot is here.

13. After getting a Salomé right after she was released and selling her off after picking her up on LDoll 2014 (she came at a very inopportune moment when I was struggling with my BJD collection) I have always regretted selling her. Long story short, thanks to the lovely farin I am now adopting her girl on layaway and I can't wait to have a Salomé again!

@WinonaFlammery I adore your girl so much, her wig is just perfect!

Nice! What skin tone?

15. Oriental Skin! My first one was tan and it was gorgeous but the character just called for something paler.

16. congrats! i still hope to have one of my own one of these days. in the meantime i keep drooling over everyone else's dolls

17. I would love a Salome. But far too expensive with our terrible exchange rates.
