1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Freakstyle Mini Girls- Salome and Eve

Jul 9, 2014

1. Ooh, that's super cool! They're fun to make, but oh so time consuming.

I'm doing single braids too. I've tried both, but I find it's easier to make them look good that way.

2. It's the only way to make sure you get the coverage you want, I think. It can lead to a ton of bulk if you're not careful, but on the plus side I've found I can move the part on my wig around and it always looks good.

3. Did Tashinka's face up today. ^^ Not 100% happy with her lips, but it will do.

4. Oh wow! WinonaFlammery , love your girls and their wigs! So much work. One hundred braids, and that wasn't enough? You're not convincing me that's an easy wig to make. But it's looking wonderful!

she_flame - You're moving right along! Congrats! I've stalled out on making clothes for my girl. Or finding the right eyes...

5. Oooh, she_flame, she's looking wonderful! I love the wig <3 I'm looking forward to seeing her finished.

Aww, thank you so much, aernath! It's actually a relatively easy wig to make all right, just very time consuming. I ended up using fewer braids than expected though, and got stuck at 190 exactly.

I have a picture of her with the wig without the headband on my tumblr too, but it's not very good.

6. She looks amazing! You did a fabulous job on that wig Winona!

Must... not... pay... off... layaway... early... XD

7. Hi! Can anyone tell me what the neck circumference is on this stunning body??
I want to make a hybrid doll but the website doesn't say. . .

8. Paper Stars - 7.5cm :)
WinonaFlammery - That wig is just perfect! It really is. How long did it take just to make the braids? I think my hands would give out, and it would take me days to get them done a few at a time.

9. thanks, aernath~

10. She's gorgeous. I agree, her face up is perfect.

WinnoFlammery, your braided wig is fabulous and so is Nivah. Wow.

11. Paper Stars - You're welcome. ^_^

Okay, all you guys' energy inspired me to finally make some clothes for my girl.
It's summer and beastly hot out, so she got a pair of shorts and a shirt.
I screwed up the back of the shirt, but it doesn't show.
So she'll get at least another shirt since I have to re-do that. lol

12. Aww, thank you so much, all. Aernath, I didn't exactly take the time, but if I assume I can do about 10 braids an hour on average (more when I've had a day's break or so, less when I'm tired), that'd leave me at about 19-20 hours :P

Aernath, she's beautiful! That style of clothing suits her so well. Did you hand-sew the whole outfit, or just the hems and neckline of the shirt?

I made a wrap around top for Nivah with just a piece of fabric. It was honestly just because she hasn't got that many summer outfits, but I really like this style on her. I'll have to sew her a proper one like this.

13. Oooh, that looks sexy! And perfect for summer!
And thanks, I did handsew the whole outfit. The shorts are just drawstring though. I'll whip up another shirt soon. ish. lol

14. She's coming together nicely! I still like that wig. ^_^

15. WinonaFlammery she looks amazing! Where do you guys find your inspiration for styling your dolls?

16. You have a beautiful collection of dolls. And the styling is amazing.

17. Took Tashinka out, in the forest as I finally got her clothes done.

18. love the way you have styled her

19. auntbear, thanks! Tashinka has borrowed lot of her style from vikings, the shirt/tunic is actually made by similar pattern as vikings used on theirs. (Yes, I love historical outfits and patterns.)
