1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Groovy Girls?

Dec 9, 2007

    1. For whoever mentioned seeing Groovy Girls at Build-A-Bear

I would be surprised if you found Groovy Girls at a Build-A-Bear store. But I have noticed that both companies have some furniture with what looks like the same pink and orange dotted pattern, so there could be some relationship between them or the clothes and accessories could be manufactured by the same company.

Groovy Girls are slim 13-inch rag dolls and clothing made by Manhattan Toy.

Groovy Girls are 15cm-14.5cm-15.8cm in the torso and I remember some of their clothes could be used on Sharmin who was very skinny mini with a 16cm chest and a 12cm waist.

Friends are the slim 15-inch rag dolls of Friends2BMade. Build-A-Bear stores often carry their subsidiary Friends2BsMade's "Friends" clothing which looks a lot like Groovy Girl clothing but is a bit larger. A lot of people use some F2BM Friends clothing on their minis (tops, stretch dresses, and stretch skirts fit the most minis. Re "Friends" size clothing - Slacks and non-stretch skirts tend to be too tight on minis with large 19cm+ hips, and anything with small breast areas may be padded and may work better on flatchested girls. Headgear and shoes do not fit minis. I have links in my previous post to the F2BM thread and fit info/database.

    2. Here is my Supia in groovy girl tops. The bottoms are not groovy girl. If I am remembering correctly I think they were pretty fitted on her.

All three shirts come in one package. I saw another mini possible a Narae wearing one of these, that is why I bought them. Kim

    3. I have those shirts somewhere - I bought them for my Bambicrony and they were too big on her 12.5cm chest - but I remember they were fairly soft stretchy knits. Minisupia has a 17cm bust (same as Narae). I am surprised about the slacks fitting - I wonder if the gaucho style helps them fit. Minisupia has 19cm hips (3.2cm larger than Groovy Girls).

    4. The pants are not groovy girl, they are friends 2B made. But wanted to show picutres of the tops if someone was interested.

    5. Thanks! That makes sense.

    7. thanks for the pics erick! they really help! :)

    8. Some of the clothes fit my DZ girl.
The shirts have to really stretch over her chest though and a lot end up really short.
I have a few skirts that are perfect for her-the right length and size ^_^

    9. I have this same shirt. It fits my MSD fine (somewhat sort, but not too bad). She's a DoC, which is fairly close to volks in size.

Anymore pictures of groovy girl's clothes on MSDs?

    10. :)here is mini moon wearing(she is 35cm) a top from the groovy girls line of clothes.
